I don't think the head even needs to be changed to look younger. Just a different expression from the Final Duel one should be enough so he's not smiling. Its not like we ever see Vader's face on the show anyway. I don't think we'll get a new helmet mold either since the last one was just recently introduced and neither Rebels or TCW used seperate helmet molds from the other movie figures.

The main difference should be in the torso printing. On Rebels (and A New Hope) Vader wears his robes over his shoulder armor. Previous Vader minifigures have been based on the ROTS/ESB/ROTJ look where the shoulder armor goes on top of the robes. You can see the difference here:

Good spot. That would make for a nice variant.

Maybe I'm alone in this, but I like Kylo Ren's shuttle in dark grey rather than black.

This new set list has lots of stuff we've been asking for for a while, but the prices seem rather steep, but such is Lego Star Wars in 2016.

I was hoping Ani's Podracer was $25/£20 sort of price point, as then it might be like an updated 1999 Podracer, a set I loved as a kid. Three minifigs for $25, five for $45, and stick a pit droid in with both and people should be fairly happy

With Rogue One sets, it's set just before ANH as far as I know (so set after Rebels) and so X-Wings and standard Tie Fighters will most likely be the fighters of choice, with Star Destroyers and the Death Star being the main Imperial ships, even though the Death Star is not operational yet. With The X-Wing and Tie having released in 2012, as well as the Resistance X-Wing in 2015 and 2016 and FO Tie in 2015, the Star Destroyer in 2014, I hope we don't get updated versions of these sets just yet. As it's not an episodic film, maybe a small run of sets like SWTOR would be best for these anthology films. A couple of battle packs and perhaps three or four other sets released over two waves would likely be enough for Rogue One at least.

Hopefully we do get the Vader variant mentioned above, I'd never noticed it before, so good spot! His TIE Advanced set depends on what else is included for me, the same with Rex's AT-TE. Looks like an expensive wave for me if they do it right! :)

Wow, if the rumors are right, it'll be such a quiet year on the Star Wars front for me. I already have an AT-TE and no need for a CTT. No need for an Advanced TIE really. And I'm honestly waiting on the TFA stuff for sales or even purchases next year when I'm hoping the sets might have a better "bang for your buck" as far as minifigures. I'm hoping what happened with the Lego movie happens with TFA - we start to get more main characters in smaller sets.

Not sure if it's been picked up on previous posts (couldn't see it) but if Rex's AT-TE is from Rebels then surely it's going to be the Steampunk one from the recent series?

Old Rex, Wolffe and Gregor to be included?

i think that was sapost to be bly not cody

Bly has different markings on his helmet. The 2005 figure is just meant to be an ordinary Star Corps Clone.

Having both of those ships in the one set will make it a fantastic set. I think the figure line up is starting to write itself on that one with a Phoenix Squadron pilot and Ahsoka along with Vader and a couple of others.

To all the people who already complain about the prices.... Guys, we dont know anything specific about the content we get (partcount, minifigs, printed pieces, new molds), so how about we wait at least for pictures to arrive before we talk good/bad prices.

I hope the 100$ set turns out to be the Finalizer :sweet: It's the only major TFA craft that's still in need of the LEGO treatment (and the polybag doesn't count ). The only thing that concers me here is the lack of exciting new minifigs. They could include some SF TIE fighter pilots and a couple of officers/lieutenants/*insert random military rank here*/whatever, but no new (on-screen) named characters. Snoke is still a possibility, but I somewhat doubt we'll get him before the release of Episode 8 :sadnew:

In my defence, we do know the piece count and minifigs that come with the Resistance Troop Transport..

$70 for 625 pcs (or thereabouts IIRC) is steep.

Hardly, especially by SW standards. The 75096 sith infiltrator is $90 (or a staggering €110) for 662 bricks nor 75101 at $70 (or €75) for 517 bricks are far worse, at roughly $1.10 per brick the transport is arguably one of the most reasonable SW sets

Id kill for even €1.10 per brick SW sets over here, the new Obi intercept is €35 in my country for 215 bricks, over my dead boddy that im paying that for that set.

I meant the price discussion regarding the new summer wave list that has the prices labeled already without any other information.

Please can I remind you of the EB posting guidelines (below). I would be grateful if you could take a little more time composing them in future, thanks :classic:

Recently, we've noticed a rash of odd posting habits that detract from the overall Eurobricks experience, so I'd like to take this moment to remind some of you of the basic posting standards that we look for.

  • Sentences begin with a capital letter and end with some form of punctuation.
  • Sentences are separated by a space, or placed on separate lines when starting a new paragraph.
  • Making lots of short posts may increase your post count, but they also increase your chances of being asked to leave the site. If you have something meaningful to add to a conversation, it will probably consist of more than one sentence. And those sentences will be separated by a space. Or a line.

~ The Eurobricks Staff

Also, please can everyone try and refrain from discussing pricing and the differences between countries, thanks :classic:

I am sorry but thats just unrealistic wishful thinking. First Order Star Destroyer for 100 Bucks? What would that model look like? The last one already was 130 Dollar and I dont think they will make one that would be a lot smaller. The chances are a lot higher to get it later or even with episode 8 and then it would cost at least 130 Dollar, probably more.
