benderisgreat Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) Well seems that Lego included Inquisitor in 100$+ set, with Rex's At-Te. Now I might just have to buy this set even though I am not a big fan of walkers in general. Really bummed that Ahsoka is in a retail exclusive set( which probably includes another Inquisitor), when you live outside US these retail exclusives are hard to get. The only sets a don't understand are Lego's SW show ones. Why would they waste 2 slots for their own sets instead of making more Rebels sets? Edited January 25, 2016 by benderisgreat Quote
legobear Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Why is everyone excited about the inquisitor in the 100 dollar set when you can get him in a $35.00 tie advance? Quote
Hygrotus Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Because it will be new one. Now in Rebels series are new inquisitors. Quote
Vectormatic Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Well, looks like ill be giving the Tie/A-wing set a pass then, itll come up to €100-110 probably, and i dont need a new Tie that badly. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Why is everyone excited about the inquisitor in the 100 dollar set when you can get him in a $35.00 tie advance? Because there's more than one Inquisitor in Rebels The one in the first season was the Grand Inquisitor, while the second season introduced the Fifth Brother, the Seventh Sister and another, yet unnamed Inquisitor. The names heavily imply that there are at least seven of them in total and I expect more of them to show up in future seasons B2T: I also think we'll get the other Inquisitor in the same set as Ahsoka, but the new helmet piece might be a problem. Aren't the retailer exclusive sets usually devoid of new moulds? I could be wrong though, I need to check that on brickset Quote
Legoman123 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Have I missed something about a retail exclusive? I also wanted to know if anyone knows the price points for all the Rogue One Sets. Quote
MartinCliffe Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Have I missed something about a retail exclusive? I also wanted to know if anyone knows the price points for all the Rogue One Sets. We don't know any details other than there's supposed to be a Rebels set including Ahsoka, but it isn't one of the general release sets seen at the Toy Fair. Nothing is known yet about Rogue One sets, AFAIK. Quote

Still Raindrop Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Bummer that there's no news of the podracer...I sure hope it's actually going to happen, as I missed the last podracing sets. Quote
Brickr Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 (edited) The only thing I can already critique the Resistance X-Wing for is that we only get a flametrooper without an additional standard stormtrooper. I mean it was a normal Stormtrooper that shot and disabled the X-Wing in the beginning. But there have been two sets since 75103 that have included at lease one TFA stormtrooper, so it makes sense to include another flametrooper in this set. Well... Unless TLG goes with a new Rey in the Jakuu set (which they won't) the only draw is Unkar. So it looks like the only real draw TFA-wise is Poe in his jacket. What about the rumored Starkiller Base set? I wouldn't be so sure about not getting a different version of Rey in this set, it's not probable, but possible, what about including the old rebel helmet that she has on just prior to rescuing BB-8? I am very excited about 'Encounter on Jakku' especially Unbar, Teedo and the Luggabeast! I knew we'd get the beast at some point but am very happy it is so soon... however... I'm a little concerned about the scale of the beast. I have heard unconfirmed reports that it is 15cm in length, 15cm!!!! if that is true it is WAY to big. The Luggabeast should be roughly the same height and width as the Dewback from 75052, the Dewback isn't even 15ch in length and it has a tail for goodness sake. When Rey stands next to it she is almost as tall as it which would be way too small so it is not going to be exactly to scale, but considering Teedo is most likely going to have short legs, making the beast too large will dwarf him and the entire thing will look stupid. I hop TLG have done a decent job of scaling the Luggabeast and that the reports of its size are incorrect. Edited January 25, 2016 by Brickr Quote
hinc94 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Anyone got the pictures from the toy fair on these new sets? Quote
Robianco Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Anyone got the pictures from the toy fair on these new sets? There aren't any pictures as far as I can tell as they're not allowed. The descriptions come from the memory of the people that saw them at the fair. I'm guessing different people were tasked with different themes etc to help remember as much as they could. Quote
Darth Kylo Ren Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Bit disappointing we're getting a Starkiller Base instead of a death star, I wonder what it would include though. Quote

Legoman123 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 You have that backwards. In all honesty I would actually prefer a Starkiller Base. Quote
x105Black Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 75148 Encounter on Jakku – £49.99 The scene from Force Awakens where Teedo on a Luggabeast snares BB-8 (that’s a ridiculous sentence). comes with Unkar Plutt, Rey, BB-8, Teedo and a brick built luggabeast. Nuts, I was hoping for the Luggabeast to be done like the Dewback. Also hoped for Lor San Tekka in this set. At least Teedo and Plutt are included. Two BB-8s in one wave again is a bit annoying for those who already have two of him from the first wave, but since he's so awesome I guess it's excusable. Hopefully it could bring the price down on BrickLink for those who didn't buy any sets he's in. That encounter on Jakku set sounds like the perfect set for that giant space pig. Come on lego, you'll never get another chance! Hoping we get him in the Dewback style as well! I'm not a fan of brick-built creatures. Quote
Legoman123 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 Does anyone know what the interior is like in the AT-TE? Quote
HawkLord Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 With no interest in the cartoon show and no interest in the large CW/PT vehicles, what's there left? Maybe TFA sets - seems like a slim year for me. Quote

Sadly, they limit these to the more expensive sets. Quote
pittpenguin123 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 The animated show people are referring to is a SW LEGO show similar to Yoda Chronicles. This is likely to be non-canonical. The only canon animated show is SW: Rebels at present. Incorrect the clone wars that was on cartoon network is canon. Quote

Raskolnikov Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 So there's a report that a Grand Moff minifigure comes with the TIE Advanced. Anyone at the toy fair know whether the unfirom was dark bluish gray or tan? Since it's rebels, I'd expect it to be tan. But here's hoping for dark bluish gray. Quote
nutzaboutpoker86 Posted January 25, 2016 Posted January 25, 2016 I have some pictures of the box art, but they have "confidential" written on them - am I allowed to post them here? Quote
