Ultron Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Here we go again, detailed info from London fairs about upcoming sets were deleted from Brickset Photos were not allowed, now also description are not allow. That's the dumbest thing I've ever heard. Quote
Dragonlego27 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Wait, there's a photo? It could be just a fan made model which looks quite realistic, that's all I could find Quote
nutzaboutpoker86 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 I don't understand why LEGO requests the descriptions not be made public - do they clearly not see people taking notes? What do they think they are going to do with those notes? Why even invite media members at all if your not going to allow them to report on what they see. I love LEGO, but they need to relax a little here - being the world's largest toy maker is starting to go to their heads. Quote
bountybossk Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Wait, there's a photo? Nah, just MOC's that don't look like the Luggabeast Brickset described. Quote
nutzaboutpoker86 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Apparently 4 new figures were announced at the Pre-show press conference. Not sure what they are yet. Quote
bountybossk Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 It's going to be a good day! There's a German website called Zusammengebaut.com that will post pictures from the Nurnberg Toy Fair. Check Brickset for the article! Quote
pittpenguin123 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 every page on that site works execpt for the toyfair page Quote
Legoman123 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Does the Nurnberg Toy Fair start today? Quote
CM4Sci Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 The new TV series is called "The Freemaker Adventures" ! Quote
Jayoheazy Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Wait, there's a photo? Might be referring to an IDEAS project https://ideas.lego.com/projects/126599 Quote
pittpenguin123 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 http://zusammengebaut.com/ is now down. looks like lego dosnt under stand that if they invite press they are going to report on it. shame, lego, shame Quote
TheNerdyOne_ Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) http://zusammengebaut.com/ is now down. looks like lego dosnt under stand that if they invite press they are going to report on it. shame, lego, shame They're just down from all the traffic they're getting. They've said on their Twitter account that the site will be back up soon, and they're working on organizing all of their photos and videos right now. Edited January 26, 2016 by TheNerdyOne_ Quote
darththeling Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 A Google cache of the page is available. It's nothing even remotely revealing - mostly pics of Lego presenters and some giant displays. Quote
bountybossk Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 A Google cache of the page is available. It's nothing even remotely revealing - mostly pics of Lego presenters and some giant displays. Except for some pretty big Marvel SH & Technic reveals... ;) They've just posted on Twitter they've taken 1000's of photos. Can't wait to see the SW sets. (That Spiderman-bridge set looks awesome by the way) Quote
darththeling Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 (edited) Oh yeah, there's some rad stuff on their Twitter feed: https://twitter.com/zusammengebaut (makes popcorn...) Edited January 26, 2016 by darththeling Quote
Venkefedo Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 A quick search on google images shows the Teedo & Luggabeast set. I'm liking it. ...all I see are MOCs with "Teedo" wearing an A-wing helmet. Quote
Borex Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Breaking Bad's RV? Thanks, TLG. Yeah, it sure looks like it. Quote
Darth Mallet Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Apologies. I only had a quick look and it turns out it was the ideas set Quote
Brickr Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 A quick search on google images shows the Teedo & Luggabeast set. I'm liking it. Yup, some great fan mocs but not the real deal, the distinguishing feature of the real set will be the new moulded & articulated legs! so excited for this set! Quote
kylosuperfan Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 So are we expecting images of all the new Star Wars sets soon? Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 So are we expecting images of all the new Star Wars sets soon? I wouldn't count on it. Nuremberg Toy Fair usually doesn't allow pictures of licensed themes to be taken (though that hasn't stopped attendees before ). The 2014 Rebels sets were the only ones to be officially revealed there, as far as I remember Quote

nutzaboutpoker86 Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 So I just spoke with the guy/gal who runs Promobricks and was informed that no one was allowed to take pictures of anything Star Wars. Looks like we might have to wait until NY Toy Fair to get photos. Quote
deskp Posted January 26, 2016 Posted January 26, 2016 Some pages back someone said Unkar plutt is tall, that's super incorrect, he is perfectly average height.. Quote
