Forresto Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 A set with lots of aliens like any of the ones involving Jabba is all I would love to see. We haven't gotten a proper movie Talz yet. We haven't any mini figures that were an Aqualish, Kubaz, Bothan, or gand. It would also be nice to see more sets with Trandoshans, Ithorians, and Bith, I know molds can be expensive but some of them could just be a face print like they did with the Duros in the new rebel alliance battle pack. A simple recoloring would suffice if they wanted to change it. Even if it's just aliens they've already done i'd like to see them appear in more sets. More weequays, more ithorians. Aliens are the lifeblood of creating Star War's atmosphere and the most interesting ones only appear in lego very rarely. Quote

While reading Darth Plagueis I kept googling all the different aliens that were mentioned as I didn't know the names of most of the species. I don't understand why LEGO hasn't made Ponda Baba yet. He was the first lightsaber casualty ever. It just boggles my mind how they made Mos Eisley Cantina without PB and Dr. Evazan. Quote

Markalus Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Very nice special edition - comes with fin and 3 polybags Can anyone confirm this as legit? I find it hard to believe they would have a 'premium' edition with all four polybags when pre-orders for the deluxe edition with Finn and a single ship polybag have gone live (at an already very premium price). Haha I didn't think about Ponda in that way but now that you mention it, the fact they haven't made him is a bit incredulous considering a cantina ucs would have been awesome. I don't normally go for UCS but if they did one with the Cantina, I would buy that in a heartbeat. They should do it especially since the cantina scene is one of the most popular scenes in Star Wars. It may also be considered one of the most famous in movie history. Quote

General Magma Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Since the game is based on only one film, will it cover the entire movie instead of just key plot points like with the OT, PT and Complete Saga games? Quote
BigEl Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) Anyone notice that the T70s in the Force Awakens video game have redesigned laser cannons that look like the old UCS x wing? It's interesting... We also see full system scale or even UCS size First Order Star Destroyer on the cover of the game. Doesnt have to mean anything for actual sets. jdm44 Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) ...or Wuher! Yes Wuher too. What's the point of a bar with no bartender. a cantina ucs would have been awesome. It would be an awesome set with an expanded cantina, full bar and 20-30 minifigures. Something like this Edited February 4, 2016 by jdm44 Quote
Raskolnikov Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 (edited) It's pretty easy to make a few Cantina patrons, though. Lego recently released an Ithorian, and they all look the same (alienist?). They previously released a Talz alien guy in a clone wars set (although it has a mohawk, unfortunately -- cantina one doesn't). The yellow spaceman is easy: Bossk body, white helmet with solid black visor. Wuhur also is pretty easy: bland Jedi robes, angry sideburns face (from Lone Ranger sets, maybe?), and tussled brown hair. There also are some bat ears headpieces to make the short guy in orange, wolf headpieces for the wolfman, bug headpieces for the fly alien. And we have a brand new blue head for the one alien, from the rebel battlefront pack. Ponda Baba is probably the most recognizable one that has no decent Lego substitutes at this time. I hope they come out with him or another Aqualish. Here's hoping they do that in sets connected to their new IP. I really wouldn't be surprised if they did, considering the way substitutes for other patrons have been trickling in. Edited February 4, 2016 by Raskolnikov Quote

ArrowBricks Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Can somebody give me a link to see the deals for the new game, or even tell me what the deals are for each edition and console? What's the Xbox one edition offering, or even the PC version? Do they have the Finn polybag with the other three polybags like the ps4? Much appreciated. Quote
nymmerod Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 Sorry, a little late to the party on this.... the Finn (FN-2187) polybag promo can only be obtained with the Deluxe version of the video game - which is only available with PS4 and XBOne. Correct? I'm not seeing that minifigure bundled with the Wii U version or any other platforms yet. If true, I guess I'm not getting one. Quote

And also for the playstation 3 if the information on amazon is correct. Which would be nice for me since I still own a playstation 3. And the game is also 10 bucks cheaper than for the new consoles Quote
ChiefPie Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 I'm happy now that I upgraded from the ps2 to a ps4 for battlefront and a new lego Star Wars game. Quote
ruttager Posted February 4, 2016 Posted February 4, 2016 The premium edition looks to come with 4 polybags, but no season pass - at least I cannot tell from that link. Deluxe edition looks to have season pass and finn poly bag. In Australia, the preorder bonus is a star destroyer polybag as well. Quote
