Hokierespect Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 No. Your original question was "Of the UCS sets that exist, what is your ranking of their long term investment potential?". Either way, not suitable for this forum. You saw where I updated my question. Answer it. Stop using emoticons and put forth some effort. Also, I've created another forum to place this more appropriately. Quote
slenos Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Getting awful touchy, clearly no one here wants to help you with you investing. Quote

Jedi-Bendu Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I asked what your favorite ucs set, currently available, was. If you don't have one, just don't say anything. What is your favorite set and why? This one: http://brickfanatics.co.uk/wp-content/uploads/2016/02/75105.jpg The Alderaan UCS. This set was extremely limited but I guarantee you: it will blow you away. Quote

Junior Shark Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Guys, I want to know - will the new sets be released somewhere in June or should they be expected in August. Expect them in June. The new CTT is advertised in the June Lego Store calendar. Quote
Forresto Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 So I was perusing Wookiepedia and I ended up reading about the HAVw A6 Juggernaut (AKA Turbo Tank). I failed to fully comprehend how massive that thing is, it actually makes the real name make more sense. I understand Lego has a price point and all, but just like the AT-AT, TLG's version is seriously undersized. As far as i can tell the one thing that could use a lot of improvement in regards to accuracy are the wheels. The main tank hull is fine the way it is in the set but the wheels are disproportionately small compared to the vehicle. The Turbo Tank is a tall thing, Lego's makes it appear squat. Quote
Agent Kallus Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Expect them in June. The new CTT is advertised in the June Lego Store calendar. Is there the same release date for UK or do we get them earlier? Sorry if I should have posted this in general questions ,I just felt like my question related to 2016 sets. Quote
HawkLord Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 Definitely true that the CTT is undersized, but I don't think Lego could ever make it bigger or more accurate unless there was a serious push in its popularity. The AT-AT is one of the most popular vehicles in the OT and it hasn't gotten the full-sized upgrade it deserves. Quote

But he made a reference.... we had to reference back.... anyway, has any one heard any thing about a new tie-fighter in OT colors Ive seen some posts on other sites talking about it and not sure if it has any truth. Jeez, when did discussing toys become so serious? Quote
Hinckley Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I've suspended three accounts for not listening to our moderating staff. This thread will be locked for a while to cut down on the nonsense. Hinckley Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 This thread is open again. Thank you for your patience. I sincerely apologize to those who can hold a conversation on track and had to wait while I set the thread on fire. We really need people to keep this topic on track. There are threads in Community to discuss other aspects of the SW universe. We appreciate a lot of you are friends and have fun joking together. We appreciate a sense of humor and enjoy joking with you guys too. Please feel free to express your sense of humor. Just be more conscientious of your timing, specifically when a staff member is trying to get a massive amount of people in a huge thread to focus. Thank you. Quote
HawkLord Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 I appreciate that the thread has been re-opened. The Moderators do a really great job here providing the community with a place and resource to discuss and post about Lego. I know conversation can get off track, but we can do our best job to ensure that we don't go too far off the mark and be able to reel it all back in when we're asked. Quote

samlr Posted April 28, 2016 Posted April 28, 2016 An good or bad news : it's seems that the next UCS Star Wars will be a Snowspeeder and will be released in 2017 ... (Look for set 75144). So what to expect ? Only one UCS for 2016 ? Or a UCS from an other licence ? Quote
