Hokierespect Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 An unnamed source tells me that the upcoming UCS Death Star is a combo of Star Wars and the premiere of the Game of Thrones Lego brand. Sansa Sstark is sitting in the empowers chair and Jamie Lannister is training storm troopers. Sounds very cool. Quote

Brickr Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 (edited) The Space Slug set is awesome! I'm definitely going to try to build this from the parts I have. I think this is a major step up from the past exclusive microscale SW sets (Dagobah, Lars Homestead). I thought there'd be an official LEGO exogorth! Agreed, I've just brick linked the parts I didn't have, can't wait to build it! Although, I do love the other micro builds (Dagobah and Lars' Homestead) I'm hoping there'll be another comicon exclusive micro build this year! maybe Endor based? Edited May 3, 2016 by Brickr Quote
just2good Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Did you pay for expedited shipping or you've known toysrus had this on sale for a while? Expedited, which I use coupons and rewards stuff for. They were up Sunday. Quote
Brickthusiast Posted May 3, 2016 Posted May 3, 2016 Hey guys, IGN just released new gameplay footage of the LEGO Star Wars The Force Awakens Video game http://www.bouwsteentjes.info/nieuwe-lego-star-wars-the-force-awakens-video-game-gameplay/ Quote
Kman860 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 It was up for a bit. Was able to snag one. Review up tomorrow or so. I wish I could have got one  October. Revealed, released, or both in October? Quote
CM4Sci Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I wish I could have got one  Revealed, released, or both in October? Early release in Sept I think and release in Oct June early - Big Ben July early - Beetle Aug early - Cinderella Sept early - yeah, October. Quote
Kman860 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Early release in Sept I think and release in Oct June early - Big Ben July early - Beetle Aug early - Cinderella Sept early - yeah, October. Nice, so all my VIP points over the summer can go towards that (I have $225 CAD saved up right now ). Quote
analogkid81 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Ooh wonder if it will be unveiled at Star Wars celebration in July... Quote
duboismerci Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Would they release a UCS during double VIP month? (October) Quote
Terrynomnoms Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 I hope this fits this topic, but with the rumour (or is it confirmed now) of the UCS Snowspeeder on its way, do you think it'll be likely we get more mini-fig scale UCS single person ships? I'm thinking X-wings, Y-wings ect, we've had a tie fighter, but was that to a mini-fig scale? Quote
analogkid81 Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 They released Assault on Hoth during a double VIP event so why not. More of an incentive to drive sales on the already pricey UCS sets. I'm sure the Death Star will be $400+ when it is released. i can't see the UCS Snowspeeder being mini figure scale - it would be too small. Quote
Flandy Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 The snowspeeder we have now is pretty much minifig scale. The snowspeeder isn't a very big aircraft: Quote
MartinCliffe Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 what if it is the snowspeeder from episode 7? Isn't that already bigger than minifig-scale? Quote
makoy Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Isn't that already bigger than minifig-scale? Yes... and so is the OT Snowspeeder, unless they can come up with unique parts and finer details to make it more UCS standard. Quote
Richpepperell Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Here's a special May the Fourth wallpaper advertising the LEGO TFA game, featuring some interesting new mini figures - I know they won't be actually be produced, but they do look pretty cool! Quote
Amazing Bricks Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 That picture is amazing! I wish we could see those minifigures in physical form. There's always next year, but as always, not all minifigures from video games make it to actual sets. Awesome picture nonetheless. Quote
jake0324demo Posted May 4, 2016 Posted May 4, 2016 Expedited, which I use coupons and rewards stuff for. They were up Sunday. did you also manage to get the city park set too? Quote

That Sidon Ithano fig is absolutely awesome and yet they decided to go with a generic stormtrooper as the May the 4th promo... Quote
