Alpinemaps Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 (edited) FO General polybag is unknown at this time. Could be a Lego store promo or TRU, those would be the main bet. So far, I've seen reports of it being available from the LEGO Store in Costa Rice, another from the LEGO Store in Belgium, and GWP at TRU Canada. Edited May 7, 2016 by Alpinemaps Quote

Confirmed at ToysRus in Canada. it was part of a promotion: Spend $25 on any lego product before Taxes and get the First Order General for FREE. I was able to snag one. Quote
TheNerdyOne_ Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 It doesn't matter what concept art tells us (If we go by concept art, Kallus should be blue!) considering the show just finished its second season It absolutely matters what the final concept art tells us. The concept art I'm referring to is the one that they use to actually make and texture the models, and also to nail down what colors they want to use. The colors used in the concept art for the Imperial officers are exactly what is used in the final model. All that said, we know for a fact Lothal has pretty sunsets and that it's possible to argue for and against the use of grey or dark tan for the uniform colors. We also know for a fact that the uniforms are unmistakably dark tan in scenes where Lothal's sun isn't a factor. Such as the following: http://vignette2.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/4/44/Tarkin-HS.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150202194757 http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/2/2f/Call_to_Action_30.jpeg (though this one takes place during sunset, you can clearly see that the lighting has no effect on the color of the rest of his and Kallus' uniforms) http://vignette3.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/a/a5/Rebel_resolve_1.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20150212223135 http://vignette4.wikia.nocookie.net/starwarsrebels/images/0/07/Tarkin_2.jpg/revision/latest?cb=20151115190939 Try using a color picker on any of these imagines. The color that you get is definitely dark tan. Whether or not it's closer to LEGO's dark grey can be debated, but it's definitely tan enough to justify LEGO's color choice. I never liked the hair piece used for Sabine. It doesn't look like it should. It looks awful. It really is horrible. It's way too tall, they either need to take some off the top or make the rest of the hairpiece more round. Quote

It makes her look like she has one of those retro hair styles, like Flo from the Progressive commercials. Her real hair in the series is nothing like that. Quote
benderisgreat Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 So can anyone confirm if Vader I n TIE set will have leg printing? Because newly released photos show him with no printing, but back of the box shows him with leg print. Kinda confused... Quote

Because newly released photos show him with no printing, but back of the box shows him with leg print. Kinda confused... I'm seeing less and less sets these days with leg printing (the TFA ones were particularly weak). So I don't know for sure, but I wouldn't be surprised if he doesn't. Very disappointing - I've ended up replacing many sets of legs on SW minifigures recently. Quote
Tariq j Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I'm guessing everyone's seen Twilight of the Apprentice by now but I wonder whether Vader will get given an "angry" head reflective of what we saw in that episode, possible even with eyebrows. Quote

That'd be great, but then, a hateful expression would be more appropriate than an angry one in reference to that important scene, as subtle as the difference might be. In the end, it'll not make that much of a difference, unless LEGO would provide us with a Vader mask/helmet slashed open to reveal his right eye - something which I'll definitely customize for a "Fall of a Friendship"-MOC with the pyramid as a centrepiece I've already planned and began to sketch-build. All I need now are those minifigs still missing: Ahsoka, Vader with slashed-open mask, the three Inquisitors. It'd be great if instead of the standard happy face/determined face combination we'd get a determined face/sad face for the REBELS version of Ahsoka, since both would encapsulate her arc in the show perfectly. I can't wait to see your take on that scene and the Malachor temple, since your previous MOCs have been fantastic. I don't ever see that Vader with sliced helmet minifigure happening though. As for the face they're using with the upcoming TIE Advanced set, I don't think Lego knew how the finale was going to play out, so the face probably won't be what we're all hoping for :( Maybe he has a new face print, but I think they're just going to reuse an existing Vader face. If they're choosing that option, I'm hoping for the 2014 Star Destroyer tan face, though a new print would be a lot better. Also, I really want that Acklay as it's the only Lego incarnation as of right now. Edited May 7, 2016 by JekPorkchops Quote
Forresto Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I beleiev Tarkin shouldve been gray. Im happy though that we got dark tan grand moff uniform because it means we get more much needed variety. I cant wait for instructions on the Acklay it looks awesome even if a tad small Quote
Richpepperell Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I cant wait for instructions on the Acklay it looks awesome even if a tad small You're right, it is a bit on the small side but I think there's definite potential to beef it up with some ball joint pieces from a mixel or two. The main draw for me is just to get the sand green pieces and then build from there. Quote
CM4Sci Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Used my magic to reverse-engineer the Acklay - here's an .LXF file! Enjoy! Quote
benderisgreat Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Seeing Acklay in a Lego magazine, makes me hopeful for Geonosis Arena set. That scene would make for such a great Lego set: 3 beasts, many Jedi, Count Dooku, Jango Fett, droids and Clone troopers. Even people who hate prequels wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get a lot of great minifigs. I mean that Geonosis scene would be a great UCS set, much better than do called UCS Hoth set... Quote

But, like the Hoth UCS set, it should have molded creatures, which are always vastly superior. But if they do that, there's nothing much left to build as most of the arena is flat. Quote

I don't think it's possible to make molds for 3 creatures, maybe some molded parts, but for the most part they should probably be brick build. As for no build in the arena: 3 columns for Anakin, Obi-Wan and Padme, spectating balcony for Dooku, Jango and the rest of bad guys, entrance to the arena, maybe something to represent walls of arena. They'd need a lot of molded parts to look any good. Especially in comparison to other molded animals like the dewback, rancor, or tauntaun. Quote
LegoFjotten Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 Even people who hate prequels wouldn't pass up the opportunity to get a lot of great minifigs. Hmm... I think I could pass on that quite easily actually, and I don't see the potential for a great UCS set to be honest. Quote
KevinYoung Posted May 7, 2016 Posted May 7, 2016 I think a Geonosis Arena UCS set would be cool. I have a question for all is it feasible for lego to produce a UCS set like in a two part or three part series. Could you imagine the size of the displays that can be created . Any thoughts?? Quote
brickmasterben11 Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I think that separated sections would be the best, as they would cost less than a full arena, and you could buy more to build a bigger arena. Quote
Cpt. Dan Posted May 8, 2016 Posted May 8, 2016 I saw the high res pictures earlier this week. The second I saw the clones and how sub par they are I saved $130.00. I'll just make my own version of Rex with an older looking figure head - maybe the old rebel trooper from shuttle Tydirium. Quote
