I think one main reason for a reduced amount of skin tones is to keep the floodgates from opening. If they create one shade, then everyone will be asking for another and it'll be a process just to match all the ones that could be applicable. It has to be a slow process.

Besides, Lego knows we'll still by the product even if it's a shade or two off.

As long as my folder is not public (don't how long that proof will need), you can simply change the numbers at the end of the link. Nearly every number is a picture...(-;

But one problem is that they've got several shades that can work wonderfully already! The Freemaker sibs have decent shades for Kanan (which they DID use), Ezra, Sabine... slightly darker gets you Panaka, the Zabrak Jedi Knight, and Quinlan Vos... darker still you have Finn, etc. I think there might be a couple other colors that could be used in the middle there, too. I like Panaka's head for clones, personally... it's generic enough, good skin tone. The Freemakers might prove useful in updating Ezra & Sabine (sure, the youngest Freemaker's face might be a little too kiddie, but Ezra is the youngest of the group after all, and maybe it'll prove a nice alternative to Space Aladdin).

They can get a lot more mileage out of the available colors than they're getting, is my main point tho...

Lor San Tekka's torso & legs would make for great SW civilians, perhaps even politicians... and be very useful for Castle fans, too, I imagine! Great print! Thanks for posting pics!

I love picking through Star Wars and other licensed sets for useful Castle parts, and Lor San Tekka will fit in beautifully.

I have to say I'm not the biggest fan of new Lego Star Wars stuff. Especially the episode 7 stuff.

I agree with this 100% the only set I truly loved building and love looking at on display is Poe's X-Wing .. Here's to hoping the Rogue One sets blow some minds

There's no bad sets per se with the Ep 7 stuff (although several are overpriced) but it just seems like it's a bit phoned-in (by the TFA filmmakers, more than by LEGO). Just a lack of iconic vehicles. When troop transports are among the best sets from a movie, something is wrong IMO. Both the First Order and Resistance transports are good, but not inspiring. The other good sets are minor tweaks on older designs (the X-Wing, TIE Fighter and Falcon)

The x-wing, Tie, and falcone are minor tweaks oon old designes in the movies, so you can't be too annoyed at lego for doing the same with their versions. The biggest let downs for me were the flying bathtub snowspeeder, the "Wall with door" (Takodana), and the massive balls up with colour and wing orientation on Kylos shuttle. I'm not thrilled by the FO transporter, it needed to be longer, but that can be remedied easy enough. The Resistance transporter, I really love. I enjoyed building it, and the end result is so different from other ships, it really stands out.

Lego designers is design 75104 according to the concept art, so you can't really blame the designers since when the final design of Kylo's shuttle came out, it's too late for the designers to change the set design.

Really, aside from Kylo Ren's shuttle, the TFA sets are pretty accurate. Poe's X-Wing is one of the WORST sets to me, because the wings are so floppy... the rubber band is the only thing holding them in place, and it doesn't so that well. I'm sad to see that the summer X-Wing doesn't actually appear to fix anything about that...

Also, if they put out a TIE for Rogue One, we'd have 3 TIE's in a year. Which would be good with me, because 75101 would then lower in price enough to be worthwhile.

I did tell it many times but will do it again: NO TIEs and NO X-wing in the set release for rogue one...

Any news on the exclusive REBELS set featuring Ahsoka Tano?

I don't watch Rebels but are there any significant freighters from this season?

Agree.

I also have a problem with the thrusters falling out any time I handle Poe's X-wing. It looks like that same problem may exist in 75149 as well. I was hoping they would find a better connection than that little bit of technic bar.

The GHOST, the Gozanti-Class, the Broken Horn... Watch the show, it is great, and just had the emotionally most powerful confrontation I've seen in Star Wars since Luke faced Vader in Empire Strikes Back with the show's season 2 finale!

That makes sense. We'll hopefully get the Imperial tank, maybe whatever ship Forrest Whitaker is in when he's giving his little speech (you can see one of the seats behind him), probably some speeder sets of some sort (air, bike, land, whatever--I imagine we'll see something of that sort) and maybe a couple "Battle on Takodana"-style playsets (Marketplace Ambush, Imperial Base Raid, whatever). There's probably still room for other fighters/ships, too... can't wait to see what they've got in store!

Can we all agree to just wait for news on the exclusive Ahsoka set? Asking about it every dozen posts isn't gonna make it arrive any sooner, nor are those who acquire tidbits of info on upcoming sets (like Sir von Lego) likely to just forget to let us know about one of the most-asked-about sets of the last few months.

Hmmm. I think the reason people are so ingrained in that line of thinking is because when people hear "Rogue" in the context of Star Wars, it's hard (especially if you were around in the late 1990s and owned a Nintendo 64) not to think of this...

Of course, Rouge One ≠ Rogue Squadron, but I think this could be where expectations go amiss, particularly for those who haven't seen the teaser or know the premise of the film.

Hey, I'm seriously running short on patience here, which actually isn't that bad, because I'm no Jedi! And this is the point where I'm officially asking for an Ahsoka emoticon...
