Wow, four minifigures and a droid for an estimated $90. Seems a bit rough, especially since Ahsoka is the main/only draw. Meanwhile in the Marvel section, the fourth Civil War set dropped with four minifigures at $40 and they're all awesome, including the much anticipated Spidey.

Very ugly set, in my opinion! Absolutely not worth it at all for that price, it's very generic and boring as a ship itself (it's just not recognisable enough either) and it's very clear that the ONLY draw of the set is Ahsoka. Her inclusion is likely all LEGO needs to move these sets, and unfortunately I think that's all they're banking on here.

I'm a big Ahsoka fan myself, but I don't think I would ever buy this. I may BrickLink her separately - although I do have Clone Wars Ahsoka it'd be nice to have the adult version. Her figure at least looks fairly superb, ALTHOUGH her lightsabers should be white - that's pretty important to her story arc - and so the use of blue annoys me. :hmpf_bad:

Not the best, unfortunately!

Th set looks quite good and hopefully the interior will be as good looking as the exterior. The minifgure range is okay, Ahsoka and Sato are good but I would've preferred an extra Imperial Officer as well though.

Well that's rather disappointing. At least I don't have to feel like I wasted money building my own version.

The build itself is okay. They did a decent job of capturing the likeness of the ship while making it playable, though the front end could use some work. However, the colors are very off and it detracts from the look of the whole thing. All of the tan parts should be bright yellow, and all of the dark red parts should be bright orange. The ship looks so much better with this color scheme, and much more accurate. And it doesn't seem like they did much with the hangar underneath, which is a major part of the ship. Hopefully that's just the angles we're seeing it at though.

As for the figures, also disappointing. The use of Shaak Ti's mold for Ahsoka is passable, though she would have looked much better with a new mold that actually resembled her lekku. But both Ahsoka and Sato are very much in need of arm printing. Not even arm printing actually, the dual-molded arms would have worked wonders for both of them. I realize they're limited on the number of color changes and new molds they can make, but I feel like they could have adjusted their priorities to allow for a better final product. For example, they could have given us the Seventh Sister instead of the Fifth Brother. Due to her lack of armor, she only would have required one mold, freeing up a slot for Ahsoka. And I'm sure there are a few color changes that they could have done without to allow for dual-molded arms for Ahsoka, Sato, and preferably even Rex (dual-molded legs for Sato's boots would have been nice as well). Unfortunately I don't know all of the new color changes they had in this wave, or I'm sure I could come up with a few examples. Very disappointing that they couldn't even get the color of her lightsabers right.

Overall I think we would have been much better off with the Liberator, which was Sato's blue blockade runner that he used after this ship was destroyed. It's much more iconic, they would have actually been able to get the color scheme right, and it's actually used throughout the season. And this is coming from someone who has been obsessed with the original Phoenix Home since we first got concept art of it. Even just an A-wing with Ahsoka and Sato would have been fine with me. The Rebels sets this wave have really just been disappointment after disappointment as far as the figures go, which is really sad because I love the series and there was a lot of potential with these sets.

Wasn't Phoenix Home a blockade runner?

Yes and no. There are multiple "Phoenix Homes," that's just the name of whatever ship they're using as the command ship. The original Phoenix Home was the modified Pelta-class frigate that was destroyed in the Season 2 premier, which is what's featured in this set.

Honestly, it looks too stubby in my opinion. It could really do with being a few studs longer. Nice to see Sato is in it as well as Ahsoka, although rather confusing that her lightsabers are blue.

Would have been nice to get a normal Phoenix cell trooper too.

I can't help but laugh when I see all these negative comments on this set, I mean I love it, I swear there is something wrong with me, like somebody planted something in my head to make me love all the sets you guys hate. I don't know what it is, First I loved the Assault on Hoth and now I love this!

It looks like they've given Sato tan skin, yet Ezra and Sabine are still so inaccurate :sceptic: Regardless, I think this is a fine set, nothing too special but I'm a fan of new ships.

I think it'll look a bit better once I modify the front where Lego replaced the two small-ish side guns and put in those silly spring loaded missiles and made that whole area way too big. I like the ship in the show and in pictures, but I think the designer did a poor job of converting it into Lego form.

Hmm, looks pretty good. Especially the Ahsoka figure.

One thing I don't understand, though... the fact they actually made Sato's skin accurate is great, but why couldn't they do the same for Ezra and Sabine?

The ship looks great although doesn't hold a candle to Nerdyone's version.

Figure selection is both great and horrible. Ashoka looks fantastic! Sato is great!

Ezra, Chopper, and Kallus all seem thrown in to increase the figure count without actually having to make new figures. If they were going to do that they could have given us Zeb for those who missed him.

Edit: $90?!!! $90?!!! That's insane. For only two new figures?

Wow, I didn't expected that. Usually the beef I had with some of the recent starwars sets were with the builds and not the actual mini-figs but here... The ship is really good looking, the color scheme is off compared to the source material but is much nicer nontheless. I don't have any problems withthe mini figs included, but my god Zeb needed to be included there, or at least Hera ( although to be fair she is available with the ghost micro fighter). I don't know how to feel about the rebels linemini figs line-up, it's Frustrating. Just looking at vader's tie vs a-wing, sabine should have been swapped for kallus and why they don't include her helmet is frustrating. This set would have been a must buy with sabine and zeb influded.

For a 900+ piece licensed set $90 is amazing!

I'm actually excited about this one.

Technically yes but in the same wave for $80 you get two excellent ships including the first Grand Moff Tarkin in years (Even with my issues with uniform color) and a new hope style Darth Vader, plus a new pilot and Sabine.

Vader's tie vs A-wing is 700 pcs and both retails for the same price, so it's not that bad hahaha.

Some of you guys are hard to please :O I'm no Rebels fan but thing looks interesting to say the least. There seems to be plenty of space for a cool interior.

Kids will probably be really excited about this set: two of the big heroes + a cool villian + Chopper = hyped kids.

Well this is exactly what I thought we would get if Ahsoka was in a retail exclusive: a reuse of Shaak Ti's headpiece, which is incredibly disappointing. Too bad this bad rendition of her is indeed the main selling point of the set, as there are only 2 new figures without rereleasing Zeb and giving Ezra scars on his face and because the ship isn't that well designed. What a disappointment.

Also, why don't they just use the trans dark blue for everyone with a blue lightsaber, as it looks much nicer anyway. This way, you can pretend that the trans light blue blades are Ahsoka's white blades.
