Venkefedo Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Has no one else noticed that the helmet of the supposed Death Star Gunner in the TIE Striker has 4 indents on the top part above the 'mouth'? They also seem to be wearing an armour chestplate similar to the Shoretrooper? I'm beginning ing to wonder if this isn't just a gunner like we've seen in A New Hope but perhaps a yet another new Imperial military personnel? Or perhaps it's Jyn in the Imperial uniform we see her wearing at the end of the teaser? Yes, it is the armor Jyn's wearing in the teaser. It's a new type of Imperial. Note how on the box it has landing batons... those might be what are attached to Jyn's backplate in the teaser. That's how star wars works, the summer sets are good examples of being highly priced. Yeah, but...the same price point for two sets released at the same time, with over 100 pieces separating their total piece-counts? Quote
BrickJagger Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) 75152 Imperial Tank (385pcs; $29.99) 75153 AT-ST (449pcs; $39.99) 75154 TIE Striker (543pcs; $69.99) 75155 U-Wing Starfighter (659pcs; $69.99) 75156 Imperial Shuttle (863pcs; $89.99) 75119 Jyn Erso (104pcs; $24.99) 75120 K-250 (169pcs; $24.99) 75121 Death Trooper (106pcs; $24.99) At least the pricing is better than TFA's......the PPP ratio is decent, even in the largest set. That may be a Star Wars first. Edited June 7, 2016 by BrickJagger Quote

It looks like 'Rogue One' will be introducing lots of new variants to the traditional OT Imperials :) Quote

I don't think so. the TIE Striker is priced at $70 with (only) 543 pieces , and the FO Special Force TIE has a similar part count with the same price! Quote
belkor Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 They could have added tubes, yes, but considering the helmet has the same print that the one included in the UCS set is pretty, pretty neat. Bricks&pieces had these helmets for sale a while back. Couldn't resist buying a couple. Quote
JekPorkchops Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Is there an easy way of checking which licensed parts are available to purchase once in a while? Quote
Captain Lubomir Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) Guys, do you think the Rogue one sets will be on Force Friday selled in other stores too? Like Tesco or something? Edited June 7, 2016 by Captain Lubomir Quote
That Orange Thing Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 (edited) Is there an easy way of checking which licensed parts are available to purchase once in a while? There's a thread by junior shark on the front page of the star wars forum at the moment. There is also Bricks and pieces threads in the general and licensed forum i believe. Edit: They tend to list interesting and rare parts and not a full inventory by the way. Edited June 7, 2016 by That Orange Thing Quote
jdm44 Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 Yeah, but...the same price point for two sets released at the same time, with over 100 pieces separating their total piece-counts? LEGO doesn't price their sets based on piece count. They call upon the dark side of the force to come up with a price that will extract the most money from their lowly customers. Quote
pittpenguin123 Posted June 7, 2016 Posted June 7, 2016 So if the lego a wing pilot bags are in CA, Any one able to go find one and grab a photo of the bar code? Quote

PicnicBasketSam Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 WTH?! $70 for the TIE Striker? Not happening, LEGO. But for $30 and $40 each, the tank and AT-ST look even better. Quote
Tariq j Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 Anyone knows what's up with the listed A-wing on Brickset? Can't be rogue one themed, as all of the sets have been announced... I thought it was a polybag. Quote

No idea - all I remember is I found it during the URL trick-time and it had Walmart in the name I think. Maybe it was canned. Quote
Galactic13 Posted June 8, 2016 Posted June 8, 2016 What's up with the A-Wing pilot having the copyright notices for both Lucasfilm and Disney? This is particularly odd since Marvel has never been directly licensed under Disney. Quote

All new SW Lego now seems to have Disney on the box (whether Rebels, TFA, or from other films). Star Wars Rebels is also a show on Disney XD, and the A-wing pilot is from that show... Quote

MKJoshA Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Guys, I wouldn't believe that price list. The prices seem too low for licensed sets. Quote
Devizz Posted June 9, 2016 Posted June 9, 2016 Well I know for a fact that AT-ST will cost no less than 60-70 euro in EU. That was the suggested retail price for AT-DP and I don't think AT-ST will be cheaper. Quote
