Amazing Bricks Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 (edited) Speaking of new molds... I know these are only in-game minifigures, but how cool would it be if we actually got these! Maybe one day in the near future :) Edited June 14, 2016 by amazingbricks Quote
Venkefedo Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 Speaking of new molds... I know these are only in-game minifigures, but how cool would it be if we actually got these! https://twitter.com/...789987611992064 Pru Sweevant would be pretty simple as he doesn't really require a new mold, just new colors for the beard & "Shakespeare" headpiece (tho I'd hope they'd be bluer than what's in that image; not crazy about the face print or head color either). I'd love Crimson Corsair & Quiggold minifigs, tho of course they'd require new molds which means someone else might not get a new mold (I'd love a "Sullustan hat & ears" headpiece even more than a Quiggold head or Corsair helmet) Maybe one day in the near future :) Quote
Silverwolf28 Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I just ordered the UCS Slave 1 which is back in stock. I can't wait to get it. Quote

tuggernuts Posted June 14, 2016 Posted June 14, 2016 I just ordered the UCS Slave 1 which is back in stock. I can't wait to get it. That set really got me out of the dark ages. It's sitting in my closet of my tiny apartment until next year when I get a house then I can build all my ucs sets :) Quote
jhaelego Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Why are you guys throwing mixed signals? I really want Peg-leg and red guy minifigs. Quote
joebiwankenobi Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 (edited) WHAT'S HAPPENING?! I choose to wait till the Bothan spies speak human for me to reason their meanderings. I believe noncom amazing bricks was simply expressing his opinion of what could be which was misinterpreted by Venk as what will be, and denied by commander Sci as what will never be. Oldjoebiwan is getting too old for this... Edited June 15, 2016 by joebiwankenobi Quote
Venkefedo Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 No misinterpreting... just giving my approval to the possibility! TLG already covered much of what TFA had to offer for ships & playset environments, but they could always do a "Cantina" set for Maz's castle featuring the likes of those guys! Quote
General Magma Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 This isn't quite the 2017 thread but I think these new curved pieces on 10252 Volkswagen Beetle could be good on a new Slave I, Jango specifically. *snip* I kinda doubt that, seems too flat. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Imagine that as a minifigure in a set. It would have to be the size of the Lego clocks. Might it not be possible that they might do Snoke in the same manner as in this set? http://shop.lego.com/en-GB/Super-Hero-Airport-Battle-76051?fromListing=listing Quote
pittpenguin123 Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 If they make a corsair minifig we would need a (was it tupp) clone minifig Quote
Venkefedo Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Might it not be possible that they might do Snoke in the same manner as in this set? http://shop.lego.com...Listing=listing I was thinking about that... it's a possibility, but I think it unlikely... part of why Giant-Man works is he's got that helmet. Brick-building Snoke's "standard minifig head with jaw damage" might be possible, but I'm not sure it'll be the effect they'd want in a set. I do hope we see more "Giant-Man"-style builds in the future, regardless of theme. Haven't picked up that set, yet, but it's on my short-list of big sets to get over the next year... If they make a corsair minifig we would need a (was it tupp) clone minifig Kix... Tup was the one whose chip malfunctioned, leading him to execute Jedi Master Tiplar during a battle and nearly exposing the Sith's plot to use the clones as weapons against the Jedi. It'd be nice to get a minifig of him, as well as Echo, Fives, and other notable 501st clones, but I don't think it terribly likely unless Kix turns up in some major visual media (Episode VIII, some new TV series, etc) with the Crimson Corsair. Mentioning him tho is making me think up ways to customize a minifig of his 'awakened' self... he likely wouldn't still be running around in his old 501st armor, but some outfit featuring blue deco, maybe a touch of red to indicate his medic roots... maybe a red bandana? I mean, he's part of a pirate crew now, after all Quote
Jbricks Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Huh? There's a clone alive 20 years after clone wars, and 30 years after ROTJ? How does that make sense? But the Corsair's helmet would be a great mold to get. Quote
ChiefPie Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 Huh? There's a clone alive 20 years after clone wars, and 30 years after ROTJ? How does that make sense? But the Corsair's helmet would be a great mold to get. He was frozen alive in a separatist cruiser with active battle droids. And so the Crimson Corsair and his pirates infiltrated the cruiser and found Kix. Quote

Venkefedo Posted June 15, 2016 Posted June 15, 2016 This is canon? Where is this found? "The Crimson Corsair and the Lost Treasure of Count Dooku", an eBook short story published back in December (along with a number of others, focusing on minor/background characters in TFA) Quote
Venkefedo Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Kix wasn't in the movie though, right? No; I think the only members of the crew were Sidon & Quiggold themselves. So any actual Kix figure post-TCW would have to wait until they possibly (tho not likely) reappear in Episode VIII or IX, or (more likely) pop up in some animated series set around the time of the sequel trilogy, eventually. joebiwankenobi Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Hey Venk, sorry if I came across as implying you misinterpreted the discussion earlier. I was just trying to make sense of it. Quote
wesker Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Speaking of new molds... I know these are only in-game minifigures, but how cool would it be if we actually got these! https://twitter.com/...789987611992064 It wouldn't surprise me if we do see them in the next wave of sets following Rogue One. Other Lego videogames such as Marvel Superheroes, LOTR and The Hobbit have given us a first look at future minifigure releases in the past. What stands out to me about these three characters (and Starkiller Base Han) is how official they look, especially compared to the designs of the other unreleased characters like Snoke, Bala-Tik and the Guavians who are clearly made for the game only. jee_ace_guy Posted June 16, 2016 Posted June 16, 2016 Hopefully he will be made into a real minifig in the next few years. Don't forget it is a hologramm ;-) No one knows the real height of him for now... Quote
