Am I the only one who doesn't think he looks amazing? They got his outfit wrong!...

Not the first time they've put an inaccurate minifig in a LEGO Star Wars game. Captain Tarpals had a blue body, and in LSW3, Jar Jar used Nahdar Veb's torso.

Classic Leia appears in the LEGO Star Wars: The Force Awakens game and has an updated torso.

Is this how she'll look in the new Death Star set?

I agree that Leia's awesome... hopefully TLG will go with something like that when they get around to updating her, but hopefully they'll ignore the game graphics for TFA Luke!

Yeah TFA Luke could use some work, but that Leia render is great! I hope she looks like that in the Death Star. The A-wing pilot is absolutely amazing.

Shame her Resistance Base Gown looks like its designed specifically for the game only though. Would be nice to also get that version someday.

Leia looks fantastic. Just thinking about the amount of new prints we could get in the new Death star is mind blowing. Even though I own the original, if lego gets the new version right i'd consider it a day one purchase. Just don't go Assault on Hoth with it, as in underwhelming build and minifigs.

The original Death star gets so many compliments from people who have no interest in Star wars or lego, so the new one has a real legacy to uphold. I'm still a little worried what lego might actually give us though.

That's a relief that they finally produced an accurate torso for the gown. The face is also absolutely perfect as well. Hopefully the rest are as impressive

Nice look for Leia, but you're probably right it's rather unlikely we'll get her as a minifigure.

That Leia torso is pretty much perfect now. The belt detailing is fantastic and the more neutral styling of the face print over the darker 'Tamina' details.

10188 is too good, I think the next Death Star will disappoint us in some way, maybe in size... I still don't know if I should go now for 10188 or wait for 75159.

Well if you still have a chance to buy 10188 then you should get it, as it is almost impossible for Lego to surpass that model. If the new one turns out to be great, you still probably have around 8 years to decide whether you should get that one too or not (since it'll probably be the new flagship Star Wars model just like the last one). The 10188 will skyrocket in value in the coming years because it's discontinued. I own it too and it's still my favorite set ever.

Oh man... I'm stunned. I completely agree with what other have said in this thread: 10188 is almost a perfect Lego Star Wars set. There really is no way to surpass the 10188. The best we can hope for is actually a remake with updated minfigs.

Luke has undergone a minor update too - his ANH/ESB hairpiece is now dark tan. Printing is the same as before though.

That Leia is just purely awesome, I look forward to having that in a set. It seems too well designed not to be intended for that.

Really, it's almost offensive that Lego used the old torso print for so long. It never looked that good, so it appearing more than once baffles my mind.

I'd like to have a smaller one that has the full sphere for display. I wouldn't really use any playset features and if I displayed the 10188 people would only see a couple of things.

Finally, dark tan. And that face looks pretty great, unmistakably mark hamill. It is bizarre that legs can only be printed halfway down the legs though

Not that much of an update for Ep IV Luke, he was pretty much perfect minifigure already, but it's nice his hair is right color now. Now I can't possibly imagine how Lego can improve EpIV Luke any further!
