The_Chosen_1 Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Keep in mind, guys, that the Lego panel is simply being put on at the Collectors Stage at celebration. It'll be several fans talking about the hobby -- no official presence or announcements from Lego. Quote
Nokturn Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) As far as I'm aware, the only panels that will have an official LEGO presence are the ones regarding The Freemaker Adventures, as well as the TFA game. There's no indication that either of those will be livestreamed, unfortunately. I doubt we'll be seeing any reveals now. Celebration this year has been pretty disappointing as a whole. Brickprawn Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Having been in the Lego Star Wars panel at celebration I can confirm that there was no new information given. It was simply a summary of the Lego Star Wars brand, its history and products. I did get a free polybag for attending though! Quote
StarWars8Spoiler Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 A little thing I noticed about the LEGO Tie Striker (75154) vs the real movie model. The LEGO model has the wings slanted upwards at about a 10 degree angle. The movie model has the wings slanted downward at almost a 45 degree angle. Quite a stark difference. Hopefully the LEGO model's wings are adjustable. Quote
Nokturn Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 (edited) In an unsurprising turn of events, one of the new characters for Season 3 of Rebels is: Grand Admiral Thrawn! Hopefully that means we'll see that character as a minifigure at some point. I can put aside my negative opinion on Rebels if it means we get a set with that character. Trust me when I say I'll buy any lego set he's in, shitty or not. Imagine him coupled with Krennic in a diaorama with Death Troopers "faints". Quote
JPN366 Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 Maybe we could get an Outrider set in the near future? There was a ship in the S3 Rebels trailer that looked awfully similar to it. Watch the trailer again and watch closely. It flies by the screen quickly and it is also attached to the Ghost in one shot. Quote

If it's a wish, it probably doesn't belong in this thread now does it? Guys, I've thrown 6 people into the chamber today, I really do not feel like throwing another 6. Post facts or information you know relating to sets coming out in 2016, please.Wild speculation out of the blue and wishlists will get you a visit to a very quiet place very quickly. Quote
StarWars8Spoiler Posted July 16, 2016 Posted July 16, 2016 I think most of us are smart enough to get that. Quote

Agreed any set with Thrawn as a minifigure in it is one I'd buy in shops regardless of the price. Quote
Agent Kallus Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 It is one indeed, maybe they are going to plug Dash in one episode, and hopefully a lego set. Well actually I was at the rebels panel and Someone asked about the outrider and Filoni said that it didn't mean that Dash would appear it just was just because the person who designed the ship is now working on rebels. He is very good at saying nothing, when he's interviewed he never gives anything away. He has a deep respect for the EU, there could be a chance. He's put Falleens in CW so why not Dash, my guess is we will have to wait. Quote
Fuppylodders Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) I think most of us are smart enough to get that. Clearly there are those that aren't... like the 2 just above me even immediately after the obvious warnings... Edited July 17, 2016 by Fuppylodders Quote

StarWars8Spoiler Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 I have tickets to SDCC and I've hear rumours that the reveals are going to include the Death Star and RO constraction figures. Nothing certain. Quote
Darth Malgus Posted July 17, 2016 Posted July 17, 2016 (edited) Did none of you read Stash's post just a couple posts above yours? Not really, skim through as much content as possible, especially with celebration on. If you read my spoiler, it was related to the show by the way. Also my sumarising of what Dave Filoni does with respect to characters is based off his interviews on podcasts such as Rebel Force Radio. Edited July 17, 2016 by Darth Malgus Quote

Star Wars news does not imply LEGO news. We have other topics for discussing sets you want to see or think we'll see or Star Wars in general.I realize that off-topic discussion can be fun, relatively harmless, or the natural and unintentional result of a conversation. But we aren't the only ones who read this topic; other people stop in once a week or a couple times a month to stay up-to-date on rumors...and you guys aren't discussing rumors at all. As you yourself said, there's enough irrelevant chit chat in here to necessitate skimming discussion. Phoib Posted July 18, 2016 Posted July 18, 2016 For what its worth, at the Lego panel they did confirm a second wave of Rogue One sets, but beyond that no information. And to the Hoth set they said "Lego made 31 (*) UCS sets. 30 of those were great. They dropped the ball on this one, it happens." (*) quoting this number from memory, no idea if its correct or if I am misquoting it. Quote

RO's first wave is stellar. Quote
