Hopefully we'll get a decent number of Stormies in the Rogue One sets. It can't be all shoretroopers and death troopers, can it?

If you mean RO sets for 2016? Zero regular Stormies. It's rumored that there will be regular Stormies in the 2017 RO battle packs.

Wow that new hair for Han is so fantastic. I may need to sell some of my current collection to make space (and money) for this new Death Star. There's no way it'll be anything short of a masterpiece.

This looks so good! I'll never be able to look at the old Han hair in the same way again . While it would make total sense to us to include this new hair with every Han minifigure from this point onwards I wouldn't necessarily count on it, it depends on how many other exclusive minifig parts or exclusive new prints we get in the DS, if there aren't that many then I think it could be a similar case to UCS Slave 1 Boba's arm printing, just because TLG developed a new torso with arm printing didn't mean that they included it in every new set he appeared in!

For a while this new hair could be exclusive to the new DS to make it more desirable to minifigure collectors... I guess we'll see.

To me, it looks like Harrison Ford hair but only from the late 70s. He doesn't really have that "fluff" in Empire. His hair is much shorter. This is A New Hope / untitled Han Solo Standalone film hair sculpt, in my (h) opinion.

I'm clearly in the minority here, but the new Han just looks awful He looks like a hybrid of John Travolta and the Fonz.... bring back Han from 10179, it's all been downhill from there! Ah well, at least the Death Star seems to be finally in arriving, I'll be interested to see what it looks like.

Nah...the old Han is really just bad. There's something nostalgic about him but it's just a really bad face and hair piece.

I'm not too sure what to think about the new hairpiece for Han yet, because something about the new hairpiece just looks "off" to me.

But, I can still appreciate the effort to design a much more accurate hairpiece for Han, since the classic male hairpiece is been used for Han for more than 10 years, and it isn't that accurate.

I really like it. My only complaint is that it kind of makes it look like Han's got a big forehead, but I guess I'm just used to the older hair. Still a massive improvement though that I've been waiting for for so long!

Yup, clearly modelled after his Empire and ROTJ hair (although the picture shared for ROTJ is wind-swept at that moment) but the new mould looks good and definitely suits him MUCH better.

A Skiff is listed for a 2017 release with Boba Fett, Han, Chewie and Weequay. That seems to be the only Tatooine ROTJ based set.

Really? Do we really need a new version of that set right now? I don't often fall into the camp of those criticizing TLG but this just seems like they're trolling us. Of all the sets we want, they rerelease things we've had within the past 5 years.

The content of this year's advent calendar does really look great!

I really like the many OT minifigs to come with it (since I do only buy OT sets) - esp. the amazing exclusive E-3PO and Cloud City guard!

This time it's after years that I'm going to buy the SW advent calendar (since the last years all acs weren't interesting enough for me).

And, I'm probably in the minority here, but I quite like Chewie; if nothing else he's a significant improvement on Santa Yoda, Santa Maul, Santa Vader, R2-D2 with Antlers etc etc....

I love the Wookiee mold in white, I just wish it wasn't printed with red and green. But I'll agree it's better than previous years.

It would be as much a shame not to include the new hair with every Han moving forward as it was not to include arm printing on Boba Fett, which is to say it would be a huge shame not to include that hair in other sets.

Now all I need is C3PO with a dual molded leg.

That would be great. I wonder if that will finally come in the Death Star.

I picked that up at Star Wars Celebration, got it signed by the designer too. Sits well with the microfighters I have and the books quite cool too

Well, I was going to say if they release that hair piece in sandy blonde (or for lego, I guess blonde would be closest) I can finally have a hair piece pretty close to mine (mine is something like ESB Han, just a little longer [shoulder length]), but I don't know if I want to admit that now :laugh:
