Brickprawn Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Just seen a photo of the Baze Malbus minifigure from Rogue one on the Lego Star Wars addicted Facebook page. Quote
JekPorkchops Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Except for the hair. But it needs to be cut off there because of the backpack. No dreadlock details whatsoever though. Quote
Aethersprite Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Sweet! Here's hoping we see more of the RO set soon. Quote
BrickBob Studpants Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Yeah, Thorin's hairpiece would have been a better option if it weren't for the backpack At least the rest of the minifig is spot-on Quote
Richpepperell Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Yeah, Thorin's hairpiece would have been a better option if it weren't for the backpack At least the rest of the minifig is spot-on The hairpiece was my only issue too - but I guess you're right about the backpack. Can't wait to see the other mini figures... Especially Bistan and Pao! Quote
Kim-Kwang-Seok Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 https://www.facebook.com/brickleaks/ The fb page also has pics of the Death trooper. Besides to the helmet nothing special I think. I very much prefer the gun metal grey dark troopers from last years battle pack. Quote
Richpepperell Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 (edited) I think this looks great, although obviously the quality of the photo is an issue for scrutinising the helmet in detail. One thing I'd like to see though is a nice molded pauldron, like the ones you see with ninjago. I think it would add some welcome bulk. With two new mini figures appearing today, I'm hoping we're in for more as the week goes on - can't wait for shoretroopers and tank troopers! As far as Baze goes, I've just been comparing the minifigure to a photo I took at SWCE, and the printing really does match amazingly with the real costume. The 1 red arm is a bit strange though! JekPorkchops Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Indeed, the only special thing with the Deathtrooper is the helmet. That looks fantastic. The rest of the printing kinda lacks depth. It's way too black (though that is to be expected). I'm sure the final fig will come with a soft pauldron though, which would help a lot. Quote

The 1 red arm is a bit strange though! Comes from the red pauldron on one of his arms. Take a close look at the picture you posted of the real costume from SWCE. The figure looks fantastic, surely, but it's simply disappointing how they can't be bothered to do any dual mold printing on any of the Star Wars figures so far. CM4Sci Posted August 1, 2016 Posted August 1, 2016 Final name stuff? 75119 Sergeant Jyn Erso 75120 K-2S0 75121 Imperial Death Trooper 75152 Imperial Assault Hovertank 75153 AT-ST Walker 75154 TIE Striker 75155 Rebel U-Wing Fighter 75156 Krennic's Imperial Shuttle Quote
Kman860 Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Nice to know the official name of 75152. Thanks Sci! Quote
Aethersprite Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Here's hoping the shuttle has at least 2 Death Troopers! But it wouldn't be so bad if it just came with one; now we know that we'll be getting a Death Troopers BP next year anyway. Quote

eldiano Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Went to my Lego store, as a fan of the architecture line I asked them about the US Capitol and he saw his calendar and saw it slotted for mid September VIP release therefore he deduced Death Star for October so who knows, even they haven't heard much aside from rumors Quote
CM4Sci Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 Seeing more leaked pics is always nice, but I'd like to reiterate the fact that an image of every single figure was leaked several months ago: Aaaah, better remove this before the mods see this. Went to my Lego store, as a fan of the architecture line I asked them about the US Capitol and he saw his calendar and saw it slotted for mid September VIP release therefore he deduced Death Star for October so who knows, even they haven't heard much aside from rumors Yeah, surprisingly LEGO Store employees don't know jack, they always say "we usually know the day before it comes out" Quote
Nokturn Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) Aaaah, better remove this before the mods see this. Why? The image has been floating around for awhile and it doesn't have a confidential stamp. I don't see what the difference is between this and the images of stolen minifigures that others are posting. There's a good chance that not everyone has seen the leaks that happened months ago, so I wanted to put them back out there. Edited August 2, 2016 by Nokturn Quote

These days EB has little choice but to comply when TLG/Disney requests/demands removal of leaked pics. Quote
HawkLord Posted August 2, 2016 Posted August 2, 2016 (edited) <snip> Looks pretty basic and serviceable. But why are we not talking about the obviously Cerean head just below? Could this be an updated (non-CW) Ki-Adi-Mundi??? Edited August 2, 2016 by MKJoshA Please don't quote pictures. Quote
