Aethersprite Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 The U-Wing's wings need to be longer. Otherwise I think it looks great! Love the sliding doors and the folding wings. Quote
Moshaka Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 He has exited a timewarp from 18 months ago? No I'm talking about the USC Millenium Falcon everyone is talking about. Quote
nikhkin Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 No I'm talking about the USC Millenium Falcon everyone is talking about. That's entirely speculation. People have suggested that Lego may release a new UCS MF since it is the 40th anniversary next year. It's nothing more than that and a silhouette on a box that may (and probably does) mean nothing Quote
HawkLord Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 No I'm talking about the USC Millenium Falcon everyone is talking about. I could see Lego including a square/rectangle radar dish so that one could convert it to the TFA version. Again speculation - we don't even know if we're ever getting a UCS Falcon. Quote
Moshaka Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Yeah I know I'm just stating a possibility if it does come Quote
nikhkin Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Yeah I know I'm just stating a possibility if it does come That would be a 2017 point of discussion, not 2016. Hence why we were confused. Quote
Agent Kallus Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 That video seems very spoiler-y for the movie... Some imperial figures leaked, they look pretty good. The new helmet molds look great, printing is excellent as per usual. They said in the disclaimer that the people who made it made up the story so it shouldn't spoil the movie it just uses the characters based on there mannerisms from the adverts and stereotypical star wars tropes that can be assumed. xboxtravis7992 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) I just saw a video on Star War's Official Facebook showing action figures building the new Death Star set. Has Lego released an official press announcement yet, or are they just letting it be shown without fanfare? Edited August 31, 2016 by xboxtravis7992 Quote

That's more just showing off the range of toys that will be available Death Star reveal is very soon. It's tomorrow, isn't it? Based on what was said a couple of weeks ago. Quote
xboxtravis7992 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Yes it was the "Go Rogue" video. I know it was focused on Star Wars toys in general but the new Death Star is very obvious Quote

Brickdoctor Posted August 31, 2016 Author Posted August 31, 2016 [...] the extremely vaguely rumored UCS Falcon that is supposed to arrive in the future... No I'm talking about the USC Millenium Falcon everyone is talking about. There is absolutely no evidence to suggest we'll get a UCS Falcon rerelease at any time in the future. Everything pertaining to that idea in this topic is based entirely in wishlists and the fact that TLG is apparently willing to rerelease 10188. Discussion of anything related to a 10179 rerelease or a UCS Falcon in general doesn't belong in either of the rumor topics. Let's get back on track. Quote
will Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Shame that even on shop@home they haven't listed what the protocol droid is in the calendar. Quote
just2good Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 Shame that even on shop@home they haven't listed what the protocol droid is in the calendar. What is it? Quote
Seaber Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 It's E-3PO, the droid from Bespin. The eyes/photoreceptors are the right colour and the circular detail on the 'pecs' is correct of E-3PO, not U-3PO (the droid on the Tantive IV) Quote

The eyes/photoreceptors are the right colour and the circular detail on the 'pecs' is correct of E-3PO, not U-3PO (the droid on the Tantive IV) As someone who has this minifigure I can 100% confirm, it's Ep 2 silver C-3PO. This minifigure has a lot of exposed wires in the belly area just like C-3PO, while E-3PO doesn't have that many exposed wires. Quote
nikhkin Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Isn't it possible that it is intended to be just a protocol droid? Not every minifigure needs to be a very specific character. White Wookie isn't a specific character from the films. Christmas Tree Droid from a few years back was just a droid that looked like a Christmas tree. Most likely scenario is that it's a recycled print from an old droid, so we can just match it up. Edited August 31, 2016 by nikhkin Quote
will Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 (edited) Haha, well, to make matters even worse. I emailed Lego and they said it's TC-14. HawkLord Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 ep2 c-3po is much dirtier and rusty. Agreed, AOTC C-3PO is rusty and dirtier. He even has a near brown-red left arm and waist onscreen. The advent calander droid is not AOTC C-3PO. And I doubt it can be TC-14, as that one was released as a promo a couple years back. It's E-3PO. Quote

It's TC-14 after all, I didn't consider that possibility before, but minifigure looks just like that droid! Quote
DEAD1974 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 on ebay are some pre orders for the U wing... ehm it looks a bit strange, but probably someone like it Quote
joeyl19 Posted August 31, 2016 Posted August 31, 2016 What is it? If you go back a little, you can see that a few different protocol droids were listed as possibilities. It's most likely one of them. Quote
