Ultron Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 better torso print? Comparing his minifig to his character photos the printing is pretty much spot on. Besides we don't know yet if Kylo will ever remove his mask in the movie, so not so sure about face instead of mask. We've already seen official pics of him without the mask on. Quote

Venkefedo Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 I just feel that they don't seem like a Rebels that I like. They just seem to be minifigures in tan. Although I fully understand your reasoning in why you, and many more, for sure like the set. Maybe it will grow on me. Tan is what they're supposed to be, to fit with the non-Endor ROTJ Rebels! Like this guy, or this Sullustan, and this guy in the Falcon turret (General Cracken's in the other turret). That last guy's a good reason for Lego to bring back the barely-used Dark Tan hands, too... they're perfect for gloves for a lot of Rebel troops. Quote

I've also seen the ones from the new game, which made me really excited to see what Lego could do. I'm just a little bit disappointed with the helmets, then lack of helmets. I just think Lego could have done a better job but maybe I just expected or pictured something that couldn't be achieved. Thanks for the pictures from the movie, I hadn't really thought of them! afolaus Posted October 13, 2015 Posted October 13, 2015 New catalog pic of 75139 The original Rey's Speeder catalogue image for those that want to reference it. And people must be forgetting that the prices have already been leaked from amazon.de if my memory serves me for these sets. 75139 (Confidential) TFA 1 - £49.99 / $49.99 / 59.99€ 75140 (Confidential) TFA 2 - £59.99 / $59.99 / 69.99€ The amazon prices were in Euro, Pound and USD are approximates. Kman860 Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Ah the classic way of detecting fake rumours, ask 'do we want these sets?' If the answer is 'yes' then you have fake rumours! Never fails. Lego's market research team must be the most delightfully insane people that can hold down employment. 'This year I reckon 2 snow speeders, another homing spider droid and, why not, a turret or something. Done. Pub?' I think the solution is to apply the reverse, First copious amount of Pub, then the spider droid and snow speeders wont seem so bad You 2 live in the UK by any chance? Just bad enlarging... they're standard SW blaster rifles. The only new blasters we're getting in TFA sets are the new colors we've already seen so far in the Falcon & FO Transporter sets. Yeah, they're like the Hasbro 6" Black Series Resistance Trooper. ...so the translucent lens not being attached to the flip-up piece seems entirely intentional! Do you have a list of all the 6" TFA figures coming out? better torso print? Comparing his minifig to his character photos the printing is pretty much spot on. Squarefoot_Calrissian Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 All the new sets are pretty good looking but I was doing some thinking last night (a little off topic) and I think it would be pretty cool to see a UCS Imperial Probe Droid .. Not really sure how TLG would go about designing it but it be a pretty sweet UCS if it were to become a reality Quote

Venkefedo Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Do you have a list of all the 6" TFA figures coming out? I don't recall the order, and might miss a few, but here it goes: Stormtrooper Snowtrooper Snowtrooper officer (TRU exclusive) Riot Control Stormtrooper Poe Dameron (jacket) Captain Phasma Constable Zuvio Finn Rey & BB-8 Chewbacca Poe Dameron (pilot) TIE pilot Kylo Ren General Hux Resistance Trooper Ello Asty Guavian Enforcer ...and, next spring, Old Man Han. Not sure if a Flametrooper's been announced/shown yet, but I'm sure there will be one in the next year or so (for Disney's "Elite Series" we've seen one, but not for Hasbro's Black Series IIRC). Some other characters are too under-wraps to be released this year (Luke, Snoke) There might be some other exclusive-types, like a Stormtrooper officer (with a pauldron, like the TRU snowtrooper officer)... Jacket Poe and the Riot Control Stormie are a 2-pack exclusive overseas, but they'll turn up as an exclusive set elsewhere, too. There's a picture with his mask off..... That picture is just for a photo shoot. Might've been Annie's choice to shoot Driver without his helmet on, but Christie with her helmet on.... IIRC, there was a similar photo shoot--or perhaps just 'behind the scenes'--for the original SW way back when, and David Prowse was pictured in Vader gear, sans-helmet. Quote

Venkefedo Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 A leaked one, yes, but that doesn't mean Hasbro (or Lego!) has the green light to make figures based on it. They're keeping him under wraps officially, so we won't get any figures until sometime next year, well after we've seen him in the movie itself. (tho there is an official image of Luke from the 2nd teaser, but he's hooded, you can't see his face, and it's from a scene that--based on rumors--likely won't be represented in a Lego set anyway) Quote

Ok so we've seen 75140 B-Wing and now have seen teaser for 75139. So then 75139 must be Battle of Takodana, with Finn and Kylo Ren. What worries me is that we aren't getting old Luke minifig in January wave. The biggest question is why? Quote

Robianco Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I actually think that custom lightsaber look massively oversized. That version of the helmet/hood would work well but that may be something that happens off in the future. I don't really see them making a third option for the same figure in a 6 month period. Quote
deskp Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 I don't really see them making a third option for the same figure in a 6 month period. Might be right. But don't u think Legos current hood option was something of a desperate last minute attempt to fix their own mistake? Quote

benderisgreat Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 When do you guys think we'll get official pictures? You mean for Ep 7 sets? Probably right after the movie is released in theaters or 1-2 days after, so December 18th would be my guess. Quote
Robianco Posted October 14, 2015 Posted October 14, 2015 Might be right. But don't u think Legos current hood option was something of a desperate last minute attempt to fix their own mistake? I know what you mean... I think they tried to give quite a lot of variation and maybe that didn't work out that well. We still don't know exactly what they were working from but giving the helmet as one options then giving the hood with the printed head was a good way of creating variation without then needing to create another mould. We know that almost every imperial helmet in this series has a brand new mould as well as really taking rebel helmet work to another level with the transparent visors. While it may not be perfect they've at least given variation. Considering it took over 15 years to get a Vader helmet that came in two pieces that's not bad going. Quote
