Aethersprite Posted October 20, 2015 Posted October 20, 2015 But they do fold out a bit, into the V-shape we saw in the 2nd teaser, unless I'm misunderstanding you. When you see the shuttle land right after the Luke/R2 scene, at 1:42, you see the wings finishing the transition from their "V" position to upright. That's what I meant! That the new trailer is the final confirmation that Lego got it wrong, unfortunately. I wasn't doubting it but there were some people who speculated that the final version of the ship in the movie might have non-moving wings like the Lego version. Quote
LegoPercyJ Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 We are getting 2 BP for FA next year.. is that it for first half of 2016? Quote
Venkefedo Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 We are getting 2 BP for FA next year.. is that it for first half of 2016? Yep, along with the 2 Battlefront-themed BPs. January! Quote
Deathstroke77 Posted October 21, 2015 Posted October 21, 2015 Sorry if this is just an abrupt comment breaking up the discussion, but will we be seeing Dart Vader again in a cheap-ish set? The final duel set is nice but doesn't seem £70 to me, and I really need a Vader! Quote

Id suggest trying to find a used 8017, they go for $40 and up on bricklink, and besides having vader, the ship itself is a pretty damn nice craft, even if recent Ties have been better Quote

I'd wait it out, the TIE Advanced is long due for a remake! Quote

Ah, i wasnt aware there was a new helmet, it does look a lot better then the old one i must admit (although slightly less lego-styled as a result) Quote

I really like the new helmet...the old one had a certain charm, but the new one's great! If you're not keen on the build or other minifigs in the Final Duel set, waiting's probably the right move. A new TIE Advanced would certainly be welcome, even so close to the Inquisitor's prototype version. Edited October 21, 2015 by Venkefedo Quote

YellowCorvette Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 So excited for the 2016 sets. Hi Ryp, and welcome to Eurobricks! I think it's better for you to introduce yourself at here first. I also excited with the 2016 sets like you too, but at the same time I'm also disappointed with some of the sets. Quote
Corydoras Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 Oh my, loving that imperial technician in the Battlefront BP. One thing I'm not quite sure, is his cap Dark Bluish Grey or Black? If it's black, it'd be pretty sweet. The Carbon Freezing Chamber seems pretty boring, but the minifigures are awesome, as well as the abundance of Trans Orange pieces. The gun station in the Hoth Attack set seems pretty well done. What in the world is 75140? Looks like some kind of a prototype B-Wing without folding out wings. I think I can see old Leia and Ackbar here, but the other two minifigs are weird. 75142 - an almost exact remake of the Homing Spider Droid from 2013, the only difference being a stud shooter as the lower gun, with a battle droid, a Kashyyyk Trooper and EP II version of Yoda? wilson3a10 Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 some one made a lego version http://i.imgur.com/Qqwy1V4.jpg so i made this one ** Oh My God. That's very sensational Quote

(For some reason I couldn't extract the photo link to actually post the photo here.) It is indeed an A-Wing polybag. Quote

Savage Oppress Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 So when are we getting a updated Darth Vader minifigure that's based on Star Wars Rebels? Quote
benderisgreat Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 So when are we getting a updated Darth Vader minifigure that's based on Star Wars Rebels? What's wrong with Vader from 75093 set? It's the best version of Vader ,Lego has ever done. The only difference between that version and Rebels one is the color of his masks eyes. Quote
Venkefedo Posted October 22, 2015 Posted October 22, 2015 What's wrong with Vader from 75093 set? It's the best version of Vader ,Lego has ever done. The only difference between that version and Rebels one is the color of his masks eyes. It might be nice if they threw that Vader into a Rebels set, with dark-red (or dark-brown, perhaps, given the way Lego colors work) eyes on the helmet. They'd probably also tweak the torso print a bit, as this is ANH-esque Vader...so his surcoat would be over his upper-chest armor, not under it as the 75093 Vader has it. The legs could be reused as-is, they just need to line up the surcoat lines again on the torso. Easy Peazy. Quote
