That looks great! I can get both Kylo Ren and Finn in a cheap set, yes yes yes!

£50 for that pathetic excuse of a set? Seriously? It looks like one of the Lego designers could not be bothered to use their brain and decided to throw something together at lunch break. It may be cheap compared to other sets but it is wayyyyy too expensive for what you get.

Ah yes, the preliminary picture did not show the second stormtrooper. This set looks perfect especially for its intended price point. On that note, is anyone aware of the piece count/price for the Resistance Troop Transport?

£59.99 646 pieces

Well, I guess that puts another nail in the coffin for the fan theory that Luke is Kylo Ren, right?

Well, it is still a possibility! Luke could have dyed his hair black for instance.

Personally, I agree with CM4Sci, and maybe you're being a tad overly critical? These sets were done probably around a year ago with only concepts to go off of, so any design issues can be excused. Also, the actual design is alright for what it is trying to represent, that being the front entrance to the castle, not the entire structure itself.

Even if you hate the design the parts are nice, with a load of those nougat profile bricks being particularly nice.

Also, not enough for what you pay? 409 useful pieces, at least 4 play functions to represent the destruction of the castle (accurate too), plus 2 more ever-valued Stormtroopers, the main hero, an exclusive main villain variant AND this trilogy's Yoda. Really bro? A "pathetic excuse"?

How much will the battle of takodana cost?

£50, so probably $60, or $50 if you're lucky.

Also, Just2Good? I saw in your vid that the Resisitance transport will be around $30/40, but I heard that it would be around $60 and around 640 pieces.

He could have gotten his leg bones extended a la Gattica. I'm sure he could have gained a good 4-5 inches from advanced galactic surgery.

Well, I'm clearly in the minority on this, but these sets look totally underwhelming and ridiculously expensive! :look: Personally I think that Kylo Ren's Shuttle (75104) is far better value and it has been available at 40% off a couple of times in the UK recently which is getting somewhere near the RRPs of these. Each to their own, I guess.

I am so confused with the prices right now, disregard anything I've said about them.

I snagged the shuttle during one of those 40% sales  retail on that thing is ridiculous!

For me, the reason I prefer the Battle on Takodana set to Kylo Rens shuttle is that the shuttle is not very accurate to the final design in the film, the colours are a bit dull and the wings are pretty clunky. However, I have to say I was tempted when I saw the offers similar to what you mentioned on Black Friday, but decided to go for the X-Wing instead.

To be fair, I have to admit that excluding the minifigures, battle on Takodana is slightly overwhelming, and kinda reminds me of the Duel on Geonosis set, especially with the minifigure selection and almost background-styled build.

Thanks for sharing the photos!

I looked at the Battle of Takodana and thought: "Wow, nice way to get Kylo and Ren - with Maz on top!" Then I noticed the two troopers.... amazing!

I love the transporter's look, too. A strange, and possibly highly impractically, design - particularly from a pilot's perspective, yet intriguing. The Leia minifig is obviously a huge selling point.

This looks excellent, Unmasked Ren looks very accurate to why we have seen. Overall it looks a set worth the money.

Hopefully we get the new first order walker that appears in the trailers( http://orig13.devian...220-d95uh0j.png ) in the summer or some type of first order land vehicle. Hopefully we find out when the rumors come out in a month or two right?

The funny part is in the Duracell commercial, they have TFA stormies and snow stormies, and a TFA star destroyer, (I had to pause and look), but they still use AT-AT's.

Well, that was in the old canon. It was recently revealed in Rebels that the B-Wing was designed by a Mon Calamari named Quarrie on the planet of Shantipole.

I still hate the whole legends system. I absolutely hate it.

I'd say the catalogue preview image was pretty accurate, spelling errors and all ;)

Can any one make out the text under the minifigs on the boxed images or have a best guess? Im not having much luck on my phone.

The Battle on Takodana set is about the minifigures and that's it. The minifigures and a bunch of pieces.

And that thing called Maz Kanata is 100% nightmare material.

Both sets look amazing  75139 seems to be a great mid-sized scenery set, something we don't get all that much in SW (except for the millionth Hoth set ). The Riot Control Stormtrooper's electrostaff is not all that spectacular though, but at least it consists of two parts in new colours (a telescope in white and a Barraki eye piece in black)

Takodana looks amazing! The set itself is boring, but the minifigs are perfect. Any word on its US pricing?
