maybe ferrari is already asking too much for its license. i like the miniscale sets though to go with my road hero and terrain crusher. that enzo is hot! way much better than the supercars they released in the past.

i hope they also make a 1:24 F2007, kimi FTW!

:-X Why oh why did LEGO take this line in the direction of micro-scale? !! I give these new micro-sets a huge BOOOO! Sorry, just had to get that out. :-$

I have to agree with you: I don't like this microscale sets.

Btw - Thanks for the pics Lord Of Pies *y*

That 8156 looks quite nice, even to a non-car-person (ie. me), but what those flat technic beams are doing in the bottom ? Are they some highend support feet for parking, like the ones used in bicycles ? ;-)

Oh well, my quess is that they are just some non-photoshopped stuctures used in photo session.

It must be so, since they do not appear in the 2 lower pics...

They are jacks so the car can quickly change tires. See the yellow piece inside? That slides and retracts/lowers them. The F430 Challenge from this year has the same feature. Supposedly the real cars can do the same.

Do you write out of personal experience with these beauties? ;-)

I have seen the car before, but I have never seen the air jacks in operation.

...I have. Iv'e been to LMS races in the past, and have seen them operate the Jacks in person. Its an air operted system. When the driver pulls up for pit work, one of the crew sticks an air hose in a fitting thats on the car, and then the jacks automaticly lift the car off the ground. They use this cause its faster than running under the car with a floor jack, and some cars are to low for a floor jack to even fit under them.

Oh. So they don't work without an external compressor?

For the price you pay they should come with one and a babe (your choice of gender ;-) ) for the passenger seat. X-D

Nice idea, where do I order it? X-D

(I guess your wife is not around, now ;-) )

At first I though "meh", another Ferrari set, but now I see there are red 1x4x3 panels on the truck, I will definitely get this set! Those 6 panels are just what I need for my new truck. Shell logos will come in handy as well.

FFX is a great game which I can only recommend. Having played it for 250+ hours, it is getting a little trivial, oh wait... It's a car :-P

It looks better than the last Ferrari set in that size because it doesn't rely that much on stickers for details.
