Athos Posted April 22, 2005 Author Posted April 22, 2005 Wow this thread really took off. I forgot I'd posted about this, and haven't been following the thread. Thanks to Darkie for the answer to my question: yes and no. It can be done, but not as cleanly as I would have preferred. May have to order some clickits soon. Steve Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 22, 2005 Governor Posted April 22, 2005 And thanks to me and everyone else who took it off topic ensuring its longetivity... Quote

Sarg_Kulo Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 How come this thread doesn't get locked for going off topic? Awww never mind Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 25, 2005 Posted April 25, 2005 How come this thread doesn't get locked for going off topic?Awww never mind For one simple reason, we've been discussing mainly clickits, ok in a broader way than the initial question, but its still clickits ;) Come on, can we please stop this non sense about off topic and closing threads, this is getting nowhere. Everyone has to take their responsibilities at some points. Back on topic: I actually nether thought before that clickits were usefull ;) This thread prove me wrong and I will check what pieces are available in small sets ;) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 26, 2005 Governor Posted April 26, 2005 Has any actually DONE anything productive with Clikits since the creation of this thread? Quote

We'll have some changes within the next times here to solve all those troubles that lately appeared here and there, so please be patient with us! I can tell you that we'll have some new coolness around here (if I'm allowed to quote our beloved moderator idol!). Quote
Athos Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 I'm still planning on doing something useful with clickits, if I ever get any... Steve Quote

Would Clikits make LEGO good treasure? Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 26, 2005 Posted April 26, 2005 mister_phes, I'll tell you that if there are any clickits parts in Billund PAB ;) I don't want to buy a whole set (mainly with pieces I wouldn't use for a couple usable ones). Quote
Athos Posted April 26, 2005 Author Posted April 26, 2005 Would Clikits make LEGO good treasure? Only for a bunch of real girly pirates... "Arrrrhhh what cute little bracelets ye be wearing..." "Aye, and ye olde hairbrush be mighty cute" "Thank you! Lets say we all just forget pillaging and plundering and just all go and have tea and play with dolls." "Good idea, and we can ditch our scurvy pirate rags lets wear are tu-tus and prance around in flower beds!" "Excellent idea, this eye patch was screwing up my depth perception... though it did save on my mascara costs." Steve Quote

Governor Mister Phes Posted April 27, 2005 Governor Posted April 27, 2005 No this is great! Now I can use Clikits to lure more wenches into my trap so they can be harassed... Quote
Athos Posted April 28, 2005 Author Posted April 28, 2005 We could freshen your pirateship up a little bit. Maybe you could dye your sails pink... and put a couple lovely throw pillows around on the deck.... oh and some flowery drapes would look just lovely over here! And what about a nice potted plant here! And maybe a few scented candles... and maybe a pot pourri burner here. And a mirror or two to check our makeup... *wub* Steve Quote
The Middleman Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Ooooh, and those gold coins would look lovely if you cemented them to the top of a table in an undulating pattern to reflect the pattern of the wind!!! Quote

xwingyoda Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Here's an idea for a new TLC line: Paradisia Pirates "Piratisia" :-D Just something to meditate upon ;) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 28, 2005 Governor Posted April 28, 2005 That's not as silly as it sounds. Paradisa shared a lot of elements with the Priate theme. I discovered this when my sister lost interest in here Paradisa sets and gave them to me. I wasted no time finding the pieces that would fit nicely into the Pirate theme. Quote
xwingyoda Posted April 28, 2005 Posted April 28, 2005 Add a few clickits pieces and you have yourself a winner ship ;) Quote
Governor Mister Phes Posted April 28, 2005 Governor Posted April 28, 2005 Yes the Clikits could introduce the Pirate to a whole new market - the wenches! Quote
