Jerac Posted April 28, 2018 Posted April 28, 2018 Absolutely great! I am torn between display version and microfighter-style version, but both are fabulous. And then your photography is excellent, especially this shot on dark! An entire diorama of Hoth in such style would be fantastic! Quote
pharmjod Posted April 29, 2018 Posted April 29, 2018 @anothergol I sent you an email at your gmail address with some pics and a further question. Apparently I can't private message on here yet. Quote
ecmo47 Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 @pharmjod: Did you just make it over here from Brickset? Anyway, you need to have 10 post I believe before you can PM. Quote
pharmjod Posted April 30, 2018 Posted April 30, 2018 Yes :) I've been on Brickset for years and years. The reported level of moderation here has always been a little off putting to me. But I have recently started building other people's MOC's so I thought I would check it out. Quote
LegoLooney27 Posted June 29, 2018 Posted June 29, 2018 I was absolutely blown away by your design! The Battle of Hoth is my favorite Star Wars scene, so I just had to recreate this. I made some changes in how the snowspeeders were mounted due to weight/balance issues. Thanks! Quote
anothergol Posted June 29, 2018 Author Posted June 29, 2018 Thanks. You'll see the next release is much better btw (I'm still trying to get parts printed for it). Perhaps you had a balance issue because you put both snowspeeders on the side with the legs together, here I have no problem on the side with the legs apart. I've only put them on the same side for my diorama, though. Quote
Tabes Posted June 30, 2018 Posted June 30, 2018 I absolutely love to see how small people can make the grand sized Star Wars Vehicles and still keep detail this is very well done! I would almost consider this a MIDI. . MIDI sized lego sets are actually my favorite. the Falcon one Lego released is just amazing. . . Keep up the good work, I really kind of want the instructions for this bad boy! Love the pic of a trooper carrying a snowspeeder on a stick! Quote
anothergol Posted August 17, 2018 Author Posted August 17, 2018 (edited) 3 years later, the (most likely) final version, with instructions on Rebrickable. It was more or less ready for over a year now, I was just trying to find someone to print parts. It didn't quite work, so here it is, & the artwork is included so maybe YOU will be able to print them (or decals)! Edited August 17, 2018 by anothergol Quote
