You can buy them online from Walmart, if you're willing to pay Toywiz's price.

Actually meant from Walmart stores, but that probably means no, right? (definitely not interested in Toywiz's price)

I grabbed a bunch from a Northern California TRU yesterday :)

Is there a better photo of the Series 16 figures than the one that's on the TRU website? It's not particularly high-res or true-to-color, but...

There are a couple of interesting features with that photo, namely: 1) none of the figures are holding accessories in their hands, 2) the Spy doesn't appear to have his pistol, suggesting it was a last-minute addition, and 3) the Penguin Boy is wearing his skates while on the baseplate, suggesting he's simply resting on top of the center two studs.

I noticed on the packet photo that the Ice Queen was never supposed to use the new dress piece, but the ice blade she's holding sure made it look like it... And that's why her hand/arm looked weird in the very first photo of the packet...

Any sightings at Walmart?

Yes, I got two of my penguins at a WalMart last night.

Can anyone take a picture of the Banana dude next to its soulmate, the Hot Dog Suit guy?

LEGO just sucks with this thing called "internet" right?

What's this internet you speak of? Sounds interesting.

It is done.

Finally. If I wasn't so busy working 12 hour shifts, I would have dropped by rob-ot5000's place to do it myself. Either way, I'm glad it's done. It's a wonderful revelation.

TRU only had 6 left. Felt them up, grabbed a Hiker, Spy, and Dog Show Winner. Left a Desert Warrior, Pirate, and a second Hiker behind. Slim pickings around these parts!

Got one better!

YES!

This is it! This, at long last is the True Mythical Legendary Marvelous Evil Penguin Loop Of Lore!

We did it!

Oh, how grand.

I'm actually really surprised everyone else thought it was as cool as I did, usually I think of these things and everyone else is like "That's dumb".

We did it. Thanks SAnthonyK! You're a hero.

Could someone post a pic of Skeleton Guy, Wacky Witch and Cute Little Devil together? Please :classic:

That Penguin Loop :wub_drool:

Here's the supposed box distribution -

5 each

Banana Guy

Arabian Knight

Spy

4 each

Serenader

Imp

Hiker

Rogue

Dog Show Judge

Spooky Boy

3 each

Babysitter

Pirate

Cyborg

Ice Queen

Penguin

Kickboxer

Wildlife Photographer

Also, Spy's goggles apparently don't lift up but they are a separate piece.

Just cracked a box and the wife and I are showing 5 Rogues and 4 Arabian Knights. Everything else I agree with. Haven't opened anything yet (and won't open them all anyway) so may have to wait for whitefang to confirm.

They're available on Lego's site now... for purchase at least. I just ordered 32. They don't specify otherwise, so I'm assuming they're in stock/ready to ship, but I've been wrong before.

I live in the Chesapeake Bay region, US east coast and I have not seen any of the new series yet. Does anyone know how common hikers are? I want to outlit rebel troopers with his pants.

Oh my god the symbol in the penguin loop is rather unfortunate....Who would have thought adding a simple stud onto the back of a lego penguin could do that. The swastika is even the facist direction and not the buddhist way

Interesting that you mention that - ACPin's Rogue Brotherhood MOC on the Historic forum has 15 of the Rogue figures in it, and he mentioned that his lego store put out 3 full boxes, so it makes sense that there's 5 Rogues per box. A much better alternative to 5 Desert Warriors.

Buddhism uses both orientations. I believe Hinduism and Jainism do too. I seem to recall that some Native American tribes use the symbol, but I'm not sure which tribes or what orientation.

The penguins in the photograph only show a figure-ground Nazi swastika when seen from the pictured side. If you rotated the four penguin assembly 180 degrees around the axis between SAnthonyK's fingers, the swastika would appear reversed.

Any sightings at Walmart?

I've seen them at two in the area.

The listing on S@H is updated with the official photo. Not quite hi-res, but at least the colors are better!

I got 5 rogues out of one box too. I had assumed that two boxes had been consolidated, but it makes more sense that each box has 5.

Close enough
