Btw did yall see the pics of the ghostbusters reboot set? That ghost wears the gargoyles wings in trans and his horns in red. Pretty devilish to me, especially if you'll swap the head and torso for some nexo red guy and faun hoofs. I hope the new imp has a devils tail.

Good to see LEGO is reusing the piece, though. I would very much like to see it in black, and the imp with black faun legs would be a great place. If not in black, hopefully they will opt for a dark red.

OK,

1. Very medieval

2. Google shows them wearing hoods

3. Could possibly be a warrior

4. No instrument

5. Not an Executioner, Warlock or monk

This all points to Peasant or Thief. Thief/Rogue makes more sense from the possible warrior perspective, but it could be a peasant/Merry man and also be a warrior.

Peasant/Merry man is more obviously medieval than thief/rogue, and it was an extremely medieval figure....

My money is on rogue (a Wolfpack connection wouldbe nice), or a ranger, if there is still room for one alongside the Forestman.

My other suggestions are a shepherd or falconer, but the thing is, why wouldnt any of the possiblites have an accessory?

You guys mentioned Google as a source. What are the search terms you're putting in? I've tried searching for variations of LEGO minifigure series 16 2016, and I haven't seen anything.

If you won't tell us that, can you tell us the colors?

Yes I agree with you on the Gladiator (I feel the Barbarian and Spartan completely different), even if I think that some might feel the Executioner even harsher. Anyway I would be absolutely glad to have it :-)

I don't think Rogue is something that is obviously medieval. We had thief last series that turned out to be modern. I'm thinking it may be peasant instead of a rogue (or at least hoping so).

It may indeed be a peasant, but I'm still hoping it's a rogue. Even a peasant would be nice, though.
