LEGO Collectable Minifigures Series 16 Rumors and Discussion

I really liked Series 15 but I have to say that wave had a lot of already seen minifigures: Astronaut, Farmer, Kendo Fighter, Laser Mech, Jewel Thief, Frightening Knight, Wrestler Champion.... even the Queen and Tribal Woman, are already seen concepts, despite being innovative with the baby and the new dress piece.

Series 16 looks like it will be the opposite, there will be a lot of new characters never before made in LEGO form: Babysitter, Banana Guy, Dog Show Judge, Devil Suit, Snow Queen, Spooky Boy,...

That question makes me wonder... Will Lego ever increase the number of females in a regular-numbered series to six?

At this point I doubt it

5 girls per series seems to be the formula that works for them

The Licensed CMFs have varying gender balance (6 in TLM series, 0 in the soccer series). But I agree - I'd like to see more female figures per series, and/or more non-gender-specific.

He was on the original bag leak, bottom left, right next to....BANANA MAN(YES! ^_^). Granted things can change but currently I don't think that list has.

Definitely looking forward to those, as well as better pictures of the figures we have seen--I'm particularly curious to see the Ice Queen's entire ensemble.

I'd honestly prefer Larry's hair for the Spooky Boy, but we have no idea yet, so we'll have to wait. It all depends on the personality they choose for him, I guess.

I kind of hope the Ice Queen only has a collar piece, so that the back of her torso is printed...

Her arm in the photo looks like it's clipped or something... It's just odd. It seems like she does come with a lower cape part and arm printing... Or am I just seeing things?

And I think her cape elements will be cloth - definitely not plastic, which was necessary to get a translucent spiderweb print for the Spider Lady.

I was thinking the cape could have like snowflakes printed or something but I hope you're right

About the arm, it's just angled in a weird way in that cgi

Cape and back printing aren't mutually exclusive. She could have both, or she could have neither.

I hate that cape

I just looked at the cape. What does it feel like? Is it like thin plastic like fabric but plastic(which seems easily messed up if bent wrong if that's the case)?

It is not very thin. Just right to be rigid. My problem with this plastic is that it is the kind that will get scratched easily (loosing the prints too) and it looks cheap.
