Another alternate face for Kick Boxer Girl could have been a grinning face with a few drop of blood dripping from her mouth. Sounds violent, but picturing it with a evil "I'm gonna get you back" grin would work. Or maybe its too much

Can a wheelchair fit in one of the foil bags?

pretty sure they can, as Ursala's bottom piece is presumably larger then the wheelchair.

I think NK Macy's face would be a fairly good swap-in for the female kickboxer, with the teethcrack. No big deal, imo.

And her alternate face is beat-up.

There is a FB user that posted the pic of the alternate face of the Kick Boxer Girl & he also has a pic of apparently a box full of the minifigures. I keep checking to see if he's posted pictures of the rest of the figures but nothing yet. Just Her & Banana Suit Guy.

So is it confirmed that she uses that same long ponytail piece in dark brown? I was kind of hoping against all hope that it was actually a new piece that was hard to distinguish in the leaked picture.

How do we know the guy didn't just use the S5 Boxer helmet on the Kickboxer Girl?

The S2 Mime, the S6 Intergalactic Girl and the S7 Daredevil included the "extra" pieces in the leaflet picture, and the Kickboxer Girl pic doesn't show any

She uses the Agent Trace ponytail.

That's too bad--at least a different colour would have been nice. Still, I like her printing and it's always nice to see female CMFs that don't use that slant piece (it looks great but really limits posability).

Im starting to think that he just added the helmet to give her a different look.

Kick boxers don't wear helmets in competition, do they? So the addition of the sparring head protector is probably not correct. They also tend not to wear make-up, so replacing the head with the beat-up side of the male boxers head should look fine if you want a beaten up female kick boxer.

The 'dirty' face from the CMF Cave Woman treads that line. I actually used that face for an abused prostitute in a BOBS build. If a beat-up face had the CMF Warrior Woman's grimace, it could work.

you caused this. lego saw your abused woman i needed to end it.

That or use Macy's head.

According to this Google Image Search, it would seem the wear mostly full face head gear if they wear it at all.

I'm really curious about the Rogue's face. He's not one of my favourite figures, but I like to collect CMF heads--they can add so much variety to any figure collection, and they are usually very cheap on BrickLink.

It seems like LEGO is trying to retcon the Wolfpack. Well, I'm mostly going to talk about the color scheme. For those who don't know, the Wolfpack are described as such: "The Wolfpack is a feared group of renegades. They won't let anything or anyone stop their quest for riches."

Original Wolfpack characters were known as bandits, and wore brown, black, red, and grey:

cas252.jpgcas073.jpg

These Wolfpack bandits existed from 1992 to 1994. Since then, there have been a few references to the Wolfpack in other themes, but they have changed drastically from the original incarnation.

A decade later, in 2004 the (almost) universally panned Knights' Kingdom II introduced a character named Danju who wore the Wolfpack logo in gold on purple armor:

Now, over another decade later in 2016, and nearly 25 years since the original was produced, a new color has been ascribed to the Wolfpack. The Nexo Knights theme introduced a character named Aaron who wore the Wolfpack heraldry in orange on a bright green background:

And now, in series 16, the Rogue is being released with another green coloration. This minifigure bears the Wolfpack emblem as a silver pin or broach. At least in that sense, the color of the wolf head is the same as that of the classic minifigures.

I would post the image, but I'm not sure it's allowed (if a Moderator could clear that up, it'd be great).

Aaron from Nexo Knights, as well as the Rogue from series 16, are both related to archery. Aaron uses a futuristic techno crossbow, and the Rogue wields a standard bow and arrow with a quiver (which is closer to a Ranger than a Rogue, but that's another point entirely). This is also quite a departure for the Wolfpack, who were most often depicted carrying a sword and shield (even Danju carried a sword and shield, although the original Wolfpack bandits have been shown to carry an axe or crossbow on at least one occasion each).

Anyways, what happened to the old brown, black, red, and grey Wolfpack bandits? Why all of the changes over the years? Will we ever see a real update of the classic 1990's Wolfpack?

I sure hope so, as I believe it fits with the original description of the characters as being bandits and renegades. Also, I've been waiting to see an updated version of the Wolfpack for a long time, so I was really hoping for something that was more in line with a remake of the classic minifigure. I guess I see this as sort of a missed opportunity, since it will likely be some time before we see another iteration (it was a decade between the originals and Danju, and another decade between Danju and Aaron). That said, I'm happy that we are getting any Wolfpack character at all, and a new variation is nice in that it adds diversity to the Wolfpack lore and history.

What do you guys think?

(Sorry for the long post. Wasn't sure where to post it, didn't think it needed its own thread, and this seemed like the right place.)

You are correct, posting the image is not allowed until it is officially release by TLG.

As for your idea of TLG "retconing" the Wolfpack, I see no such evidence. Keeping them alive is more apt way to put it, as they are infiltrating more modern factions as time moves on and I don't see anything being done to rewrite their existing history. I also see no issues with changing the colors because the group is simply adapting to the times.

I'm not sure this is the right place for the discussion itself though, Historic Themes would most likely be a better fit.

Fair enough. Thanks for your opinions, though. I love that you see it so optimistically.

*snip*

Unlike the crest on Aaron's armor, I think the crest on Danju's armor is just a design similar to Wolfpack, but not the same.

As for S16 Rogue, I'd say it'd be better to wait for his character bio. Maybe they'll describe him as ex-Wolfpack bandit who joined Forestmen, which might explain the shift of colour scheme on his armor.

Good point. That would make sense, since he seems more like a Forestman than a member of the Wolfpack.

Just a thought

Compared to other series, this one has a more childish look overall

The 2 kids wearing a costume, a guy dressed as a giant banana, the girl holding a baby, the new terrier that looks like a stuffed dog, silly faces (Hiker, Pirate) or grown ups with childish faces (Spooky Boy)

Even the Arabian Kinght doesn't look as menacing as the S11 Barbarian or the S13 Evil Wizard

Or maybe I'm just seeing things
