Darn. That's what I expected would happen. I wonder his connection to LEGO and how he got the box in the first place...

Me too

And I can't believe that he used his real facebook profile to post the pics!

Disappointed with the Arabian knight, though having now seen it I'm not sure if that's what we should have expected. It's not a long way off the guards in Disney's Aladdin, using existing molds and admittedly some nice leg printing. In my head I had something more like an armored Saracen warrior but perhaps this figure is more easily identifiable by the age demographic.

I have no use for the hiker but have to say that is a great figure. Mixed feelings about the pirate; as pirate figures go this is definitely a nice one but it doesn't really offer that much over all the ones we've got from the Pirate sets.

Spectacular series.. I have to get the Imp Boy, Penguin Suit and Banana Suit. That leaves me with two more to pick from my usual 5 per series.. The Sam Fisher wannabe, and the Boxer lady is also cool.. But the Rogue or the Pirate, also look nice, and the blue haired space girl is pretty unique. Also, the hiker would look great with the Creator outdoor sets I have..

Oh dear.. So hard to pick!

I'm a bit greedy and I want them all.

So I decided to count arm printing, dual molded arms, and dual molded legs. There's a good amount of them.

3 have normal printing on the arms. Those are the cyborg, Arabian knight, and the pirate.

5 have dual molded arms. Those are the spooky boy, wildlife photographer, the rogue on his left arm, banana suit guy, and the babysitter.

6 have dual molded legs. Those are the Arabian knight, the spooky boy, wildlife photographer, hiker, the pirate, and the rogue.

This series almost has the most dual molded legs with 6 minifigures, but Disney had 8 minifigures. Series 15 had 5 dual molded legs. Series 14 had 4 dual molded legs. Now, series 16 does have the most dual molded legs in regular minifigures series. Disney has the highest amount of dual molded legs, but it's not part of the normal minifigure series.

As for dual molded arms, it started way back in the first Simpson's series. That series had 5 dual molded arms. After that was series 12, it had 4 dual molded arms. Series 13 was next with only 2 dual molded arms, yikes. Simpson's series 2 had 8 dual molded arms, very impressive. Series 14 only had 2 dual molded arms, pretty bad for this time. Series 15 had 4 dual molded arms. Disney had 6 dual molded arms. So Simpson's series 2 had the most with 8 minifigures having dual molded arms.

Thought I would share that as it's pretty interesting :)

Does anyone know of a suitable pair of regular legs for the penguin suit? We have an advert on tv here for insurance that features a penguin stealing kids bikes, and I was hoping to recreate this, but it needs long legs. Thanks :)

Wow, you did some extensive research there! Thanks for sharing!

I think I would just go with unprinted black legs.

Thanks for the info, AB! It looks like the Spooky Boy and Ice Queen have prints on their arms, too. The Ice Queen's is less overt, but it's definitely there... They look like shimmering ice-bracers. Spooky Boy has both dual-colored arms and printing, like the Tribal Woman. I like how the stripes on the sleeves play off the Spooky Girl's tights!

A handful of CMFs have had printing on only one arm - Gladiator, Motorcycle Mechanic, Wacky Witch, Zombie Businessman, Animal Control Officer... Anyway, It's reasonable to assume the Scalawag Pirate won't have another anchor tattoo on his other arm, so it's possible he only has printing on his right arm. But we could also have another Tomahawk Warrior or Barbarian - where the arms each have a unique print.

Another discovery that I'm concerned about - the Cyborg's left hand is yellow. It seems possible that the printing on her right arm is there to showcase her "cybernetic" arm, while leaving the left arm unprinted to clearly make it appear as her "human" arm. We'll need better pictures to confirm, but the Rogue's arm asymmetry leads me to believe that there are other figures that have asymmetry in their arms, as well...

Thats I was thinking, too. The only long legs I can think of with toes are the yeti and squarefoot, but I am not willing to paint them black. And funnily enough, the insurance company launched a new advert last night with the penguin stealing a car, so will have to get at least 3 of the penguin suits.

With a late August release are we close to official images coming out?

The "September series" pics are usually revealed during the SDCC week

It happened with S8, S11 and S12
