Duh....am I the only one on the planet who does not know what a "Rogue" is? Hmmmmm. (I have more than one, but was kind of wondering what he does.)

I think you can translate that word as "bandit". The brooch he is wearing also identifies him as member of the wolf pack, a group of bandits in the castle line long ago.

Went to my local TRU in MD. They weren't out. I then asked for the figs using the item number. The dude in the store went to the back and found a box but said he couldn't put it out because it had a sticker saying "Do not put out until September 1st". He wouldn't budge, even when I showed him the Brickset sightings and explained to him why the date was moved up, and how even Lego stores have it. He looked into the store messages trying to find if there was a communication from TRU to release the figs before but found none. He even contacted his supervisor, who apparently told him not to put it out yet... A very frustrating experience. Seems to be bad communication within TRU. Anyone with better luck finding these have any tips? I did call a TRU that told me that there were "none in the area", which seems not to be true after my experience.

Thanks! Thief, burglar, scoundrel in war playing games....no wonder I had no idea who that was! (Dungeons and Dragons was never my cup of tea.) But I had heard the word used to describe a scoundrel or thief before, which did not help me ID the fig at all BTW!

He does have a nice dark green hood, which could look great on a gal with the appropriate outfit....so not a total waste. (I can hear you guys groaning again....)

Yeah, the "Rogue" is basically a medieval bandit

I got some today.

My Toys R Us was mostly out of them already, so I only got a few of what I had hoped for...

I got the Guitar Dude, the Ranger Guy and two Turban Mans.

I had felt out the Spy as well, but I accidentally grabbed the second Turban Man I'd felt earlier instead.

I was in a hurry.

I managed to find a few more Rogues at a Target today, and also picked up a couple more Scallywags and another Mariachi. I love the acoustic guitar piece, and the black outfit with silver detail is quite nice.

I did that once. I grabbed the wrong packet from the two I identified and brought it up to the front of the store. I figured out it was the wrong one, but by the time I had gotten back to the box, somebody had taken it. :hmpf_bad:

The fellow I talked to came out of the back and said they had a Sept. 1 street date as well. I explained and he said he could run them through the scanner to see if there was a release on them. Sounds like your associate didn't bother to try.

Thanks for the input. What exactly does "run them through the scanner" mean? As in using the little machine they usually carry around?

My Walmart put out a pair of boxes, they looked basically untouched this morning. Got all the figures I wanted except I passed on the hiker and am now thinking I need one  . I have a feeling he'll be affordable on ebay so no big rush. All the figures I got are great, impressive detailing all around.

Toys"R"Us has the series available to buy on their website. What is pretty interesting is the description, which gives us the official names!

Bring new and exciting play possibilities to existing LEGO® sets, with Series 16 of the LEGO Minifigures Collection, featuring a Desert Warrior, Penguin Boy, Ice Queen, Spy, Banana Guy, Hiker, Kickboxer, Spooky Boy, Rogue, Cyborg, Cute Little Devil, Dog Show Winner, Scallywag Pirate, Babysitter, Wildlife Photographer and a Mariachi. Each minifigure comes in a sealed 'mystery' bag, together with one or more accessories, plus a display plate, collector's leaflet and a unique game code that can be used to unlock the included minifigure's character in the online minifigure game, which is available as a paid download at www.playminifigures.com.

- First off, they mention the non-existent game codes.

- The Imp's official name is Cute Little Devil.

- The Arabian Knight is Desert Warrior.

- The Dog Show Judge is Dog Show Winner.

Was just gonna mention that Wal-Mart had started putting them out. Grabbed Desert Warrior, Rogue, Wildlife Photographer and Scallywag Pirate. Other than extras of the suits and Mariachi I think I'm good on this wave.

January is so far......

January is far away. If memory serves, we've got a history of getting good leaks for the January waves, so hopefully we'll have a list by September and photos of some sort shortly after.

Actually, it's the opposite.

We get almost 0 info about the Jan waves until TLG unveils them.

It happened with Series 9, TLM Series, Series 13 and Series 15.

You know I sent an email to Funcom asking about the codes, and they said they didn't know yet if the codes will work.

So, they didn't know LEGO didn't include the codes in the S16 leaflet!

Hit my TRU while out today and got their last 3. I know 1 was the Queen who I wanted, not sure on the other 2. I'm hoping for dog show judge or hiker since I didn't get them yet.
