DarrellBricker Posted July 24, 2016 Posted July 24, 2016 Went out this weekend, and got a Wildlife photographer at Toys R Us ... then went back to the Lego Store to start on my second set. (I have one at home, and bring one set to work - they have turned out to be great conversation pieces! People love them.) The Lego Store employee who was there that Wednesday night was there again Saturday, and he handed me a minifigure pack. Turns out, he had found a Wildlife photographer and saved her for me because he remembered she was the only one I was missing from a complete set (plus, I helped him find a Banana guy). Thought that was really cool of him. So, set 1 complete, set two in the works. Have not told the Sig Other how much I have spent on minifigures this week. They would not approve ... :D Quote

rob-ot5000 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 You're so close! You can do it! He lives ten minutes away!! At any point in time, we are TEN MINUTES from being able to complete the loop!!!!! Quote
1980-Something-Space-Guy Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Can't wait for someone to take a picture of all 16 CMF regular series minifigs. My OCD self is very satisfied that the figures can all be placed in a perfect square. Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) Photoshop! Cheater. You are a disgrace and a disappointment to all who await the True Mythical Legendary Marvelous Penguin Loop. Shame on you for mocking so sacred a thing. Edited July 25, 2016 by Actor Builder Quote

Shame on you for mocking so sacred a thing. Haha :) It's really a shame that no one has gotten the chance to actually make the penguin loop. Just need 3 more penguins to make the masterpiece. Actor Builder Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Guys what I spent so much time making that just appreciate it, ok? I'm just messing with you, I'm not actually upset. However, I can't say I really appreciate it either. It is something of a spoiler. Quote

Actor Builder Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 So was I .. ! Oh. Never mind! The lack of the True Mythical Legendary Marvelous Penguin Loop must be having an effect on our minds... Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 The secret of the penguin loop is revealed... I did nazi that coming. Quote
Actor Builder Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 I saw that too... I knew there was a reason that it was Mythical and Legendary! Do note, that even though we have a makeshift version of the Famed Loop, we are all still on a perpetual quest to capture a candid of a real one in it's natural habitat. That habitat seems like it may en up being rob-ot5000's house... Quote
Clone OPatra Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Oof, the hidden insignia of the penguin loop is really rather unfortunate. Even done with four physical penguins, I imagine it will hold true. Quote
Mr Greeble Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Guys... That's not a Swastika, that's a shuriken. Quote

Most likely. I like to imagine it as the flying thing from the Atari game, Yar's Revenge, instead of a swastika. Quote
CM4Sci Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 Speaking of Penguin, anyone remember The Penguin? He made all those really cool minifigures, where's he been? Is he behind this?? Quote
Robert8 Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 #hailpenguin Any sighting of S16 outside of the US? Maybe..... Germany? Quote

telaruhn Posted July 25, 2016 Posted July 25, 2016 (edited) Found them today at my local TRU, after checking it only a few days ago... they were available for in store pickup on the website, so I called ahead to make sure. The associate I talked to mentioned the September 1st date on the box, but after I mentioned other TRUs breaking street date and the fact they were available for the in store pickup, he talked to a manager and got the okay to put them out. Went there immediately after and got a whole set from the fresh box... They're pretty amazing! My favorites are the Ice Queen, Cute Little Devil, Rogue, Cyborg, Banana Guy, Spooky Boy, Mariachi, Desert Warrior, Spy, Hiker, and Penguin Boy. And as for the five I bought online, I'm still excited to get them. After seeing a whole series in the flesh, there isn't one figure I wouldn't mind getting a couple of...
