I didn't realize it until last night, but this is the first series I have 1 of each minifigure in. I generally just get the ones I want out of each series (and don't always achieve that even), but given the early release I just grabbed a bunch blindly at TRU initially and then felt my way to the ones I really wanted later. Picked up Dog Show judge and Hiker over the weekend and those were apparently the only 2 I didn't have. Hope upcoming series are equally strong.

I don't know if this has been mentioned yet, but they're now officially available in Europe albeit from very selected stores. I picked up the following from three shops at Legoland Billund yesterday:

Rogue/Ranger x3

Banana Guy x1

Arabian Knight x1

Devil Boy x1

Teenage Mum x1

Ice Queen x1

Penguin Boy x1

Antarctic Photographer x1

I must say the staff at Legoland were super friendly. Some had gone to the trouble of pre-identifying minifigures while others searched for the ones you wanted while you waited.

Oddly, the LEGO store at Billund Airport didn't have any S16s or for that matter anyone working there.

This is one of the strongest series of CMS in my opinion. These figs are well designed and offer something for everyone. Let's hope that they made enough to let those who want them get their fill. The rollout seems to be a mess and random in nature. I much prefer non licensed CMS to Disney, Simpsons, etc.

It's so strange that there aren't any CMFs available right now in Germany. Disney and Die Mannschaft are sold out and series 16 is not available until September I guess... I just can't understand why they can't release these minifigures on one date worldwide. Nothing against a week or so, but several months is just stupid and gets the scalpers on the map to sell them too expensive on ebay or bricklink.

Agree with all of this. They should be shipped out days before the actual release and be released on the same day world wide. And the scalpers are the worse.

Gahhhh I got two Banana suit guys by mistake.

If you were using the feeling method of identifying the minifigures, I hope you don't mind me saying that your mistake was easily avoided. The Banana Guy is one of the most straightforward of the series to identify by touch.

It may be a happy accident however. I don't particularly advocate buying early in a series' release for the purpose of reselling, but you should be able to get your money back if you decide to sell the minifigure and could make some profit if you either sell very soon or wait a long time (the price of popular minifigures being somewhat U-shaped over time).

Apparently, series 16 has just been sighted in a Toys'r'Us in Nuremberg.

These are now in stock with a couple of New Zealand retailers (Toyco and Mightyape) It seems like so long ago when we started seeing posts and photos of these popping up in the States, so it is our turn finally :)

Finally. Hoping to check Warehouse tomorrow after work. Haven't been well these last couple of weeks, so see how I feel, whether I can be bothered walking or not, lol.

I know what you mean; I had back surgery two weeks ago and dreaded the thought of trying to hunt them down and stand there feeling the bags. So I ordered a box which should be here in the morning :)

I've always wanted to know, how do people order a box directly from Lego?

That's not possible for a normal customer. Full boxes are usually purchased on Bricklink or at a local store like Toys R Us or Target.

Hope your recovery is pretty quick. Can only imagine it wouldn't be nice standing in one spot for the time it takes to feel the bags.
