Funding the self-proclaimed BOBS superpower? ... That might come back to haunt you... :pir-wink:

Maybe if you Eslandolans didn't try to invade Oleon and take over the throne we would be supporting you right now.

Well, in fact, you have to thank the Eslandola Council for putting its foot down on King Fernando's schemes... otherwise poor King Phillip would probably be banished to some island right about now... :pir_laugh2:

Yes, thank your Eslandola Council, because without them, if the Eslandolan soldiers had gotten to the gates of Granoleon, we would've been the ones ruling Eslandola. :pir-tongue::cannon::bonaparte:

If our soldiers marched to Granoleon (which would have been royal troops as the TC's never were in war with Oleon) and failed, I don't see how this would have led to the end of Eslandola :p

In order to rule over Eslandola, it would have been up to Oleon to answer with a force marching to Terelli. Now here would have been the point that the TC's would have defended Eslandola with their powerfull mercenary army (which is stronger than the royal army). Thanks to the TC rescue, Terelli would have been indebted to us, resulting in a capitalation of the crown in favour of more power to the people.

So in the end the result is the same, but due to the interfering of the Eslandola Counsil, there were no hundreds of soldiers who never returned home...

Just in name of all their families, you should be gratefull to the Eslandola Council...

The council is nothing more than a vehicle for the TCs to tighten their grip around the neck of the Eslandian people. The fact that so many of you actually believe the 'republican' propaganda just proves how delightedly all greenies are kissing TC butts by now. For doubloons - Bravo!

His utter incompetence and ridiculous politics aside, at least your green king had the courage to stand up to them and oppose their scheming.

Self-proclaimed? You must have clearly forgotten that Mardier has aaaaalways been and will always be the one and only super-duper power here? All hail our yellow mega overlords! :sarcasm:

How practical that you are talking to the leader of one of the TCs as well as the representative for the same one.

Hmmm... This screams Duel time, doesn't it? ;)

Not a word of denial - come on, you could at least try to hide the true political intentions of your financial syndicate

Instead, distraction:

Oh no, this would only interrupt you counting DBs... plus, time is even more money... not sure I'm ready to take the blame for you loosing all those DB

Oh man, I love it when an aristocracy and an oligarchy dukes it out about whoever has the most absurd form of rule. :pir-wink:

Money or birth defines power?

*laughs in parliamentary monarchy*

At least both our systems clearly stand for one thing - Oleon is all about class, Eslandola is all about money... but Corrington is halfway Sea-Rats - a bit libertarian, but please, not too much, we get scared, so let's better still have a ruling queen. Make up your mind!

*laughs in totalitarianism* ... wait, what?

I don't think I ever did.

And personally, I take no pleasure in money just for the sake of money. I have plenty to do whatever I please, and quite a bit on top of that! :pir-blush:

But do enjoy counting!

Oleon invaders would not only have to contend with TC troops, but the Truachesh people.

The King abused his power, and the people responded. The Truachesh helped craft the new government. We are satisfied with the level of transparency.

About Mardier: they seem to have forgotten their history. We remember The Day of Blood. We will make them, and others, remember.

Me too :D I only got ads for real estate stuff lately. Stupid ads following everything you do... Which makes me wonder why CD has the "Get More Romantic Moments" ad

Oh, as for that, I referred to the good ol' High Council.  Did you notice that Guy is off treasure hunting?  Colonial Councils are jokes... at least, until they declare independence. :pir-tongue:

I think Eslandola deserves a round of applause for sticking up for its shipping... no matter how much it may rile our yellow mega overlords... instead of burying its head in the jungle to find that all-elusive artifact like you blues. :pir-grin:

I have no idea why that one shows up. I also get lots of real estate ads. My old phone always showed the "Razor" ads: "Join the insider community" or somesuch.

The ads don't do as good a job targeting your interests as they'd like you to think. I ain't looking for romance. Nothing that shows up ever really matches my interest and usually I just ignore 'em.

Your TC mercenaries and Truachesh could maybe handle the Oleander military, your worship of gold has made you blind to the one true religion, the Order of the Faith. Zeus will have burnt you for your acts of worshiping idols had you made it to Granoleon. :pir-skel::pir-tongue::pir-laugh:

I don't know how to feel, but this is my first time starting trashtalk. I may have have Oleon-Eslandolan relations go from Friendly to Hostile overnight, unintentionally. If a Eslandolan-Oleander War starts, just remember that was me. :pir-sweet:

Wow, you guys must be pretty desperate if you're leaning on those myths your priests hashed up to bolster their power...

Typical... as soon as one cannot attach a price tag onto something, it's beyond the mental reach of a greenie
