Posted December 26, 20159 yr Hi! Ca you help me? I have 2 sets 70734 - Master Wu Dragon, I want to keep one for myself and sell the other later. The problem, is that both have their boxes damaged in different places :\ I don't mind to keep the most damage, since I build it and don't look to the box again. But I wanted to sell the one that will have more value, even with the damaged box. Here is the photos: Box #1 http://i.imgur.com/35nKn2z.jpg http://i.imgur.com/9iPndKS.jpg Box#2 http://i.imgur.com/hPAOh0R.jpg Edited December 27, 20159 yr by Captain Nemo
December 26, 20159 yr From the photos,,,it is more like wear than damages. Both will bring a good value! :)
December 27, 20159 yr Neither one of those is very bad. You know what I'd do? Put up a listing for sale noting that the box has minor damage, then give pictures of both like you did here and let the buyer choose which they're prefer (while making it very clear that you're selling just 1 and clearly label the photos of each box).
December 27, 20159 yr Author Thanks for your replies! Like deraven said and for what I have been reading(http://community.brickpicker.com/blog/brickvesting/the-impact-of-box-condition-on-lego-investing/), it doesn't really matter that much if the box is damaged or no, when someone really wants it. Thanks for the idea, I was thinking in putting 2 ads and let see wich one sell first. The thing is, i really want to put the set together XD

January 3, 20169 yr Most buyers will be opening it any way, unless you are targeting adult collectors only.
January 4, 20169 yr If I had Ninjago stuff, I'd sell it asap. It's not the kind of thing of a value that rises progressively, like Star Wars or modulars. My prediction would be: in 3 years, no one will want it, and you'll have to wait 30 years for the 40's to remember they had Ninjago & wanna buy it for nostalgic reasons. & as said above, Ninjago right now will probably sell to a kid, who won't care about the box.
