Captain Flint Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 My entry for Category A of the Frozen Beyond contest. Elmd and his guards patrol at mountains in Mitgardia, protects nearby villages and hunts Algus forces which threaten the villages. Those who are caught end up in captivity in the Worenthon tower until it arrives guards from Valholl and take them in the jail of the city Valholl. Quote
Spader Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Awesome stonework, and great snowscape. Keep it up! Quote
Adair Posted January 2, 2016 Posted January 2, 2016 Very impressive building and I like the snow! Quote
Gideon Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Very nice tower! I like how the wooden parts contrast with the highly textured stone walls. Quote
Petric_G Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Great one! I can look on and on again:-) Quote
Simon_S Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 So nice! I know this might sound weird, looking at such a great build, but I really like the minifigures. The trapped Algus looks also good. Quote
KlodsBrik Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Awesome building. The walls looks very impressive, as does the baseplate. I just realised that this contest is on till 31 of january. ( Thought it was December as well as the winter willage ) I might just have to start building right now ! Quote
The Steward Posted January 3, 2016 Posted January 3, 2016 Amazing! I love the rock work so much!!! Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 A great build in your instantly recognizable style! Excellent texturing, and I really like the curve over the door! Quote
Captain Braunsfeld Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Fine tower, but don't keep Algus as prisoners - it is way too dangerous! Quote
Garmadon Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Great tower Captain Flint, the stone and wood-work are very nice, and the minifigures - though they are tan ( ) - are really cool as well! Quote
Blufiji Posted January 4, 2016 Posted January 4, 2016 Great tower, nice blend of stone and wood work. Quote
Puvel Posted January 5, 2016 Posted January 5, 2016 Excellent build! Love the landscape and door frame. The captured Algus doesn’t look very happy, well done! Quote
Hobbythom Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Superb. The overall shape and size is just right! I would dread taking it apart and sorting though :-) Quote

Schreeuwwitje Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 Very neat build. Love the mustache / helmet combo! Quote
Staslegomaster Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 It's very impressive. Before the first LEGO Pirates sets were issued, LEGO Castle was the most impressive series of all. And your marvelous, classic looking creations proves - why.The combination of stone and wood looks great. I like the playability of your creation and that you combined a few different ideas in one set. And I like the story, too. Quote
ZCerberus Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 I was literally going to front page this myself today, but Ecc beat me to it!! Sweet build bro! Quote
Zerobricks Posted January 6, 2016 Posted January 6, 2016 (edited) Wow, what a beauty! The grebbling really removes the flat surfaces and gives the house character. Oh and look another Slovenian! Zdravo Edited January 6, 2016 by Zblj Quote
