Dranac Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Hello everyone, I come before you today to present a MOC began last year and finished yesterday. The realisation took some time, due to a big lack of WAF, stock and suffisant founds. I always loved the Nebulon-b starship but I never found an UCSable Lego model which was not too big, not too small, and with enough details... thoses proposed on the web were generally too big, not resistant enough and with no real bearing. So, as we say, one is never better served than by yourself.. enjoy ;) Nebulon-b Frigate (v4) Pieces : 3662 Lenght : 75 cm Width: 20 cm Height : 39 cm ** sorry for the bearing : I don't have the black pieces yet ** Photos Overview : Family picture : Homemade Crash test : Zoom : Here for the presentation. For the technic realisation : The moc is 100% modular. The screenshots will be better than my english so... Quote
All in the Reflexes Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Thats fantastic, another great Nebulon and the scale is spot on, just right! :) Quote
goatman461 Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Awesome. Looks very impressive but also a manageable size. Thanks for all the detailed shots and breakdowns. I might have to make my own. Quote
Schneeds Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Excellent. I especially like the front of the ship, given the piece count. Quote
Junior Shark Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Thanks for all the detailed shots and breakdowns. I might have to make my own. + 1 Man, I sure do love this. What is it about the Nebulon B that makes it looks so good in the brick? It's a mystery, one better left unsolved. Some of your techniques are very clever, if I don't make a Nebulon B I'll at least borrow some of your building methods. Impressive work, and keep it up! Quote
phaelon Posted January 8, 2016 Posted January 8, 2016 Amazing work! I especially like all the greebling on the front of the engine section. While I'm not a huge fan of the offset stand, I like the different design of the rounded base. Great job! Quote
MikeR Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Wow Dranac, that is an amazing looking ship, one of my favorites in the Star Wars universe... Are you planning on releasing an LDD file? Quote
HawkLord Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Wow, fantastic job and perfect execution. As others have mentioned, this is a great scale for it being not too large and not too small. The details really come through well. Nice job! Quote
mortesv Posted January 20, 2016 Posted January 20, 2016 Way to go Dranac! Very well put together model - many excellent details here. And welcome to the Nebulon B club :) Quote
hallonsylt Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 FAN-FREAKING-TASTIC! What I love most about this build is that it is in a nice scale and manageable size as another user commented. For me, this is the best model we've had so far as a model which could be an official set. Quote
Mereel Posted January 21, 2016 Posted January 21, 2016 can we have the ldd file....i would like to build it Quote
