soccerkid6 Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Here's my Phase 1 build for the storehouse category in Age of Mitgardia. I limited myself to an 8x8 base size for this build, and was mainly trying to make a realistic looking cellar entrance. Fruit cellars are commonly used in Mitgardia to store food, and other goods. Rats can become problematic, but it looks like this one's food stealing days are over: See more pictures here: link Comments and suggestions welcome Quote
TitusV Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 This proves that even on an 8x8 base, you build amazing things! Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 This is great- I love the small size. Definitely looks realistic! Quote
Kai NRG Posted January 13, 2016 Posted January 13, 2016 Cellar entrance really looks good! The guy feeding the cat is pretty funny too. Quote

Definitely looks realistic! Thanks LV, in some ways staying within the 8x8 footprint was more challenging than I had expected. Great build on a small base. Thanks Blufiji Cellar entrance really looks good! The guy feeding the cat is pretty funny too. Thanks Kai, glad you liked the little scene going on there, I wanted to have someone at the window, and thought the rat/cat idea was humourous Yeah, I really like that cellar! Thanks Graham! Quote
CrashDSB Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Wow, love it! The cellar entrance looks awesome! Quote
Garmadon Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Very nice build SK, the cellar door, stonework and Tudor section are excellent, as is the part below! The cat and mouse scenario is quite funny as well, especially given the superior size of the mouse! (I've always wondered how LEGO mice ever get caught by cats that are just nearly the same size! ) Quote
Jakorin Swiftsword Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Nice work! This looks fantastic! Quote
Gideon Posted January 14, 2016 Posted January 14, 2016 Great vignette and nice touch with the animals Quote

de Gothia Posted January 15, 2016 Posted January 15, 2016 (edited) Once again I'm so inspired! The slantwise(right Word?)Wall is great!! Edited January 15, 2016 by de Gothia Quote
Slegengr Posted January 16, 2016 Posted January 16, 2016 Very quaint, SK! The level of detail in this small, cut-away vignette is amazing! I like your idea of a fruit cellar. The boy feeding the mouse to the cat is a great addition, though the sizes might make the consumption rather difficult... Quote
