Hi all,

I'm getting ready to build v2 of my blue '69 Corvette, and that means I'll have to order 6 more of these: http://www.bricklink.com/search.asp?colorID=7&itemID=117903.

So here's the mystery: what set does this part come from? They are definitely real (I used them in my original build), but bricklink doesn't list blue as a production color. A quick search on Google and I can't find any info at all. Anybody have any ideas?

There were threads with discussions about parts in "non-existing" colors like that.

From what I remember, it seems that from time to time TLG produced such parts for internal use for their designers or for the Legoland parks, and that sometimes parts were sold outside either by members of TLG or directly in the shops of the parks.
