I didn't know what form to put this on so I decided to do Action and Adventure themes! So I have plenty of money to buy both of these sets if you guys think there both worth it but i prefer to buy one of them. I don't think I really need another dragon because I already have 5 but I fell in love with the way the dragon was built and getting my first lego monkey! But on the other hand I don't have a Batman and that is my favorite hero in the justice league. I want you guys to help me out by telling me which one is better to own, and if there both really good should I buy both of them! Thank you for your replies!

Since they're both $30, I'd recommend Jay's Dragon. It's bigger, you get two great minifigures and a silver monkey! The Dragon is pretty impressive. Overall with the Dragon, you get more bang for your buck. The batmobile is a great set, but they're small builds. The set has three minifigures, but two of those are uninteresting lex Corp goons. The batmobile is amazing, but the set is lackluster. It's really up to you and what theme you like more. I'd recommend getting Jays Dragon. Hope I helped!

Yeah, the new batmobile is far smaller and less impressive. Jay's dragon has great parts, a beautiful and creative build and actually has a presence. For reference, the batmobile has 306 parts, most of which are rather small, while the dragon has 350 parts, most of which are at least double the size.

Personally, I'd say the new $30 batmobile is one of the worst batmobile versions LEGO has made, looking more like a beefed-up polybag than anything else, yet Jay's Dragon is one of the best dragons Ninjago has featured.

thank you sooo much for the replies! That really did help me solve my problem! One last question i have is that I have $15.00 free with lego VIP! Is the bat mobile worth it now or should i just stick with the discount on Jay's dragon?

I wouldn't bother with the bat mobile. There are so many other, better sets out there. And even if you don't like any of them at the moment, new ones will be along in about six months, some of which are bound to catch your eye. Any other themes that you're interested in at the moment?

Nothing but ninjago right now! I'm only ever interested in historic themes but there is no castle theme thats not nexo knights and pirates.

If you're only collecting Ninjago right now, then definitely get Jay's Dragon. It's a much better value. The Batmobile looks a little lacking for a $30 set. If you really want a Batman figure, you could get the recently released Clash of Heroes set for $13 and get armored Batman and Superman. It's a pretty good value and it's quite cheap.

I think this would work out better in Community. So I'll pop it over there.
