getting started selling custom CCBS arts.

So, I've been thinking of making and selling custom LEGO sets for money like many do, namely focusing on CCBS. However, I don't have that much to go on. Does anyone have a good guide or advice on getting started? Please let me know and share what you have. (Or move this if it is in the wrong place.)

Find a place to advertise. You won't make money if people don't know your service exists. How many LEGO boards to you participate in? In each of them, make a topic like this one. Link to the relevant topic in your sig on each site. If you participate in less than three, either find an additional way to get known, or start participating in more boards.
