I never get it why people mix their dc and marvel superheroes. Nice collection btw deemen.

You'd hate my displays then… I mix up every theme  The display I have now is temporary though, maybe I'll change it when I do something more permanent… Anyways, here's my collection, not as expansive as I usually pick up whatever catches my eye regardless of theme, and I'm definitely lacking in Marvel but I've missed the last couple of years and am now saving up for something else non-Lego related. But here's my collection so far:

Here’s part of my Super Hero collection:

I’m at college, so I only brought the Civil War part of my collection. Thanos and Captain Marvel are thrown in because they arrived via bricklink. I think I have roughly an additional 50 Superhero figures at home, including comic Marvel, extra MCU figs, and a dozen DC characters.

Here's mine with a bit of an update! They are finally on the wall...

And a close up of some newer additions, and how they hold their flippers! Got to make sure Scuba Captain America looks a bit different to Space Suit Captain America :D. I would say the only downside is certain extras not being able to fit in properly. Doc Ock's tentacles for example, or Yellow Jackets... backpack thing? Still.. overall I'm very pleased with how it's all turned out!

Edit: And yes... DC and Marvel are still mixed for me because they are by Bricklink number reference! It's too much hassle to keep taking them down, re-arranging and re-adding every time a new Iron Man or Batman comes along! The little holder clips that keep the backing in don't take much abuse!

Oh double edit.. thanks to Captain Nemo for the posting pictures tutorial, and thanks to Dr_Spock for helping me out with the tube piece for the flippers.

Are those ikea ribba frames with 48 x 48 baseplates? I like that a lot! Would you mind telling me (pm) what frame size that is and how you attached the baseplates? Thank you!

I think I'm OCD in a different way then. I HAVE to have all of the DC/ Marvel together with their team and all of the variants have to be next to each other too. I couldn't possibly mix them up for display. I think I might literally die. And I do mean literally.

In any case, these do look neat all together like that. I have some shelves my dad built me so I'll have to paint them and get figures in there sometime.

I also have mine arranged differently since I wouldn't display 2 of the same figure. As in one figure was in 2 sets, I would only display one of them and leave the other aside somewhere.

I hadn't considered a larger frame with a 48x48 baseplate on the back, although those aren't cheap either.

That's the one! They are 50 x 50cm IKEA Ribba frames (ÂŁ9 over here) and then I got the 48 x 48 baseplate and fixed it to the backing/board using double sided mounting tape. I put a strip on each corner which stuck to the white backing card then a strip in the middle which stuck to the wooden backing behind it (there was an empty square in the middle of the backing card). The tape I used is called 'Unibond No More Nails'. Don't worry though - the tape does come off if you want it to without leaving marks on the back of the plate as I gave it a test. The figures are just stood on inverted roof tiles. The capes sit nicely over the slope part so they don't get bent up/trapped. For people like Penguin I just used one of those hinge pieces (not sure on the correct term!). Will forward it in a PM to you also though!

And I completely get where you're coming from TheLegoDr! I would have had them all in line but to take each frame apart, move everyone along one place, then put them all back every time a new Iron Man comes out for example wouldn't do the frames any good as the little clips that hold the backer in would end up breaking/falling out which would leave me with a bit of a problem! I prefer not having to open the frames up once they are complete. I think the only duplicate figures I've got would be Venom but for some reason on Bricklink he's given 2 different reference numbers but seems pretty much identical (maybe it's the black spines?). The Batman ones are type 1 cowl and type 2 cowl, and Loki is the variant with his different staff/different cape (sh033 and sh033a?)

Thanks Cap! Really appreciate it, and good to know I was getting the idea already. As I already said, I might borrow that! I have the smaller version actually, but they cannot hold as many figures obviously!

Check my flickr for mine!

Nice collection Krikkit!

No worries - would love to see it once you're done!

Hello!

Took some shots today. I bought the Lego Batman 3 game a few weeks ago, and then i've started to collect the DC minifigs. Before that i just had the three kryptonians, and a few Marvel figs. I also liked the Ant- Man movie very much, so that is why i purchased the Ant- Man set. In addition to these figs i also have a Martian Manhunter polybag. I like that version better. And have a Plastic Man in polybag, which i got with the Batman 3 game.

Love the colors of Sinestro, and probably my favourite character is Harley Quinn. (Isn't that true Mister Jay?!) I am looking forward to summer to get that new Juniors Batman set with the warsuit version of Lex Luthor.

Nice collection you've got going there! I like that Black Widow too! Just picked up the Batcave and Thanos set at my nearest Lego store this morning. Almost killed me when they told me the total but hey, we're allowed to treat ourselves right? :D

I really need to pick up the Brainiac attack set so I can get the Martian Manhunter. That's one I'm missing so far. Awesome pics!

Oh my goodness, now you guys are making me want to pull out my bags for this. I practically have all of them except for the sdcc and the new blu ray releases.

Maybe 4 orso or China fakes, rest is original. Some of the older figs are compiled of official parts (Blue Nightwing torso / Killer Croc head / Scarecrow Head etc. / mr. Freeze Head and dome) with other Lego parts.

It's an encsement for Whine botles. I am mainly a DC fan, have some Marvel figures but not too many.

Nice collection! I really need to get myself a case for mine. My superhero collection is 70 strong now, and I have nearly 30 random figs from CMF series and such. I don't have room!

You'll have to get pics of yours up!

I do really like Cobb's white cases. Mine all needed to go on the wall though due to space. Will post a complete picture of all of them once my little statuettes arrive! Finally complete excluding SDCC and Toy Fair (I want to cry when I see those ones.. one day!).

Anyone else got pics to share?

I'm working on it! Every time I get around to taking a picture, I don't get it posted fast enough because another fig arrives that isn't in it! I will post my most recent shot soon, it's only missing one or two new figs. Wait, I just ordered another, so it's missing three!

 you sound like me!

I'll post my display soon, I finally took pictures of both DC and Marvel on Sunday but I haven't had time to prep everything yet. I took so many pictures I'm going to have to make a Flickr haha

All your collections look great, i must admit I'm a little jealous . . .off to bricklink to find my missing minifigs

I've been focusing mainly on Marvel figs, mostly because I like them more, but also because I'm dead afraid of the cost of getting all the Batman figs!
