Captain Britain... What have you done... I went out and bought a grey baseplate today to begin work on a frame for my figures...! You're going to make me go broke!

Haha it's the start of a slippery slope  I now need my 5th frame now I've added a few customs etc in. Be sure to add a picture when you've got one done!

Wow, awesome! Love that Hawkman vignette!

I've been inactive for sometime due to financial constraints(but mostly avoiding any talk of CACW because I STILL haven't been able to see it!), but now that I'm settled after my move it's time to start hoarding collecting Superhero minifigs again!

Looking good Duncan! I like how you've given The Riddler some hair and made him hold his hat, looks decent!

I will post another update eventually, just ordered some more customs and I'm awaiting a couple from Robianco. Might hold off until I pick up the last DC set and the updated Lex Luthor power armour from the Juniors.

Ah spot on the same quantity as mine :sweet: can't wait to see it. I spent ages trying to decide how to finally frame them. Initially wanted to stick the bricks to a backing but I know I'd never be able to get the lines all perfectly straight across/down. In the end the baseplate worked best and I quite like the background being the Lego studs, makes it more... Lego-y?

Glad it's inspired someone!

Yep, I more or less copied your layout. I looked around and it seems to be the most efficient by far.

My frame is open on the front so I can easily rearrange them and pull them out to add to brickfilms, MOC's, etc.

It's also made with some spare wood from Home Depot and fixed together with screws. Comes out to about $5 per frame. I only have one grey baseplate, but materials to make two more frames if needed.

I was able to scrape together enough white bricks and double cheese slopes to add in a few figures. Rocket and the Falcons have special stands, Rocket for obvious reasons, and the Falcons so their wings are set back so the figures next to them can stand straight.

My six rows will be ordered as follows:

1. Iron Man suits/SHIELD

2. MCU Heroes

3. GotG/MCU Villains

4. Marvel comic heroes

5. Marvel comic villains/Batmen variants

6. Other DC heroes/villains

I have probably about 80 figures total, so there are a couple that won't make it in the display (mostly those that aren't very important or visually interesting, ie Hydra goons)

Here is the most recent update to my collection. (The thumbnail is a lie, it's not quiiteee 400 yet but it's close).

*vid snip*

Nice collection! That must have taken ages to get pretty much 400? Liking the stand too. Do you dabble over into DC too or purely Marvel?

Loving that frame! Yeah I thought about removing the glass from mine and did for a few days but ended up putting them all back. I've arranged mine by BrickLink number order but now I've got a few customs I'll just slot them in somehow I think. I guess Spider-Gwen will go with the bridge battle lot for example. It's quite cool once they are all filled in and you see it on the wall :) cheers for sharing!

Would be interested to see the shelving system! That's another method I saw online which looked really good. Look forward to seeing it.

A quick pic of some of my customs I need to add into my frames still. Addicted to these things now!

Hi, nice collection there! All of these are customs? I like The Collector and Sam Wilson, they look like originals

Where'd you get the Sam Wilson? Looks really similar to mine, except mine didn't come with the dual molded legs. Which wasn't a problem, since I just ordered some off of B&Ps (and got some extras to red boot-ify some of my spare Spider-Men, which was nice), but would like to know who I should be watching when the customs of this year's SDCC exclusive come out...

Yep all customs. I had a couple from Christo but didn't really get into them and decided to just continue on with the official Lego releases, but it was in fact Robianco that got me into customs from seeing his on here! I got a couple from him but the bulk of the rest from minifigures.co.uk (who Robianco recommended also).

Black Bolt is by NACM

The Punishers torso/hips are by Muddy River Minifigs and I got a Syndrome minifig and rubbed off the print from his legs and arms to add those

Symbiote Spidey's head is from Poppunkmunky and then the rest is Venoms torso/arms/legs

The Collector and Scarlet Spider are by Phoenix Customs

Then finally Black Suit Supes, Bizarro and Sam Wilson are by Onlinesailin

I got all from minifigures.co.uk apart from Punisher/The Collector/Scarlet Spider. I also got the Spider-Gwen from my profile pic from there.

In my frames I've also got a Green Lantern, Red Skull and Carnage custom from Christo.

I'm only just starting off getting into them though - I've picked Robianco's brains a couple of times who has pointed me in the right direction for customisers so hopefully he see's this post and can throw some advice out for you guys :sweet:

Is that you that bought 3 or 4 Poppunkmunky heads, in the UK ?

Yes - ordered 3, used 1, sold 1 and will probably use the 3rd for an unmasked version.

If you ever change your mind for the 3rd one, let me know, I might be interested ;)
