Posted January 25, 20169 yr Hello. I want to introduce you to the new model: Helicopter Mi-171 (modification MI-8). The model is made to scale minifigures and all its dimensions and proportions as close as possible to this helicopter. I decided to make a civil cargo modification that can be easily completed yet in the passenger version. original photo review model photo in more detail Some functions of the model minifigures in the cockpit I welcome your comments and feedback.
January 25, 20169 yr Great job. That cockpit window works well. Should post a warning of way too many photos for those of us with slow internet connections.
January 25, 20169 yr Very nice indeed! You nailed the shape and the brick built rotor blades are awesome..Nice color scheme asewell.
January 25, 20169 yr Wonderful. I love the little details like the bars for the landing gear and the light on the tail,
January 25, 20169 yr Awesome work on this! All of the visual ques I look for in a MI-8 are there and with the glass you put on there for the front windscreen make this classic bird look a lot more modern. Well done all around on this build.

February 12, 20169 yr Wow, that is really impressive. I love all the little details and it holds very true to the source!
February 16, 20169 yr Looks great! Nice to see a helicopter here, I'm always wondering why there are so few mocced aircraft and helicopters in the EB Town department ... I especially love those turbine exhausts. The construction of the 5-blade rotor looks quite sophisticated. Nice that it fits two pilots. Could you tell something about the exact scale of this?

February 16, 20169 yr Scale is 1:37,5. One pin is real 30sm Thanks! I would have thought it's a bit smaller, like 1:40 or 1:42. But 1:37,5 is a nice scale, also regarding the match with other vehicles.
