That beast is huge! Can't wait to see it in stores. It looks like a nice set though, with all the bucket. Those pieces would sure be helpful in many other situations.

When I first saw this set I decided I was getting two. I didnt see it as anything other than an offical gbc module. thankfully my wife has already approved the purchase of two up to $500aud each. Is a slippery slope but the volvo and the arocs were $370 each.

Looks like the Xerion has a bigger age rating than the BuWeEx.

The catalog picture is preliminary, so it is less recent than the toy fair models, so no, the white truck is still included. Although, I find the truck to be an odd addition, as mining trucks like that are pretty much never used with bucket wheel excavators, and the two models are pretty clearly out of scale with each other, with the truck being much too small. The excavator and the truck should have roughly the same cab size, but the truck has a cab that would be to scale about the size of a dishwasher, much too small for a person.

We've seen catalog photos for everything thus far, aside from the 42056 Porsche. Has anyone else tried exploring the index, and seeing if there is anything in there? I have, but turned up nothing.

I think the reason for the useless posts, that the members can't wait for August to arrive and are excited about getting their dirty paws on a 4000 piece set (remember you could not wait for Christmas morning to arrive) so they want to talk about it.

I'm always keen to see sets with a common scale, so they can be (dis)played with each other effectively. Other than the dump truck, that is included with 42055, does anyone have any ideas what else TLG could produce in coming years, on a similar scale?
