TheItalianBrick Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 @Jim: Shall we say your review about this set will come in 1 month time from now more or less?
Andy D Posted May 30, 2016 Posted May 30, 2016 @Jim: Shall we say your review about this set will come in 1 month time from now more or less? Considering what has happened in the past, If we ignore the 1 month then I believe the "more or less" is about as accurate as Jim can get right now. Close? Andy D
Jim Posted May 30, 2016 Author Posted May 30, 2016 I honestly have no idea. No signs of the 2H sets yet.
Kman860 Posted May 31, 2016 Posted May 31, 2016 Let's act as mature human beings please. There's no need for comments like this. Sorry, was just referencing a joke some made about doing that before.
Jim Posted June 1, 2016 Author Posted June 1, 2016 Sorry, was just referencing a joke some made about doing that before. Okay, I must have missed that one I have been preoccupied with the Porsche, so I kind of neglected this topic, but I like to comment that this set is probably one of the best looking Technic sets ever, combined with lots of Technical functions. Really looking forward to it. Hopefully we will receive this set for a review. If we do, I don't expect to receive it before mid July.

And i'm sure this set will outclass the Porsche.....really looking forward to this beauty now!
legolijntje Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 And i'm sure this set will outclass the Porsche.....really looking forward to this beauty now! Yup. Me too! For whatever reason(s) this set looks waaaay more interesting to me than the Porsche. I'll probably get both anyway, but I'm more looking forward to the Claas
Seasider Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Definitely a Claas above the Porsche ... Bad joke I know! But this or the huge digger are more UCS than the Porsche
Dafgek81 Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 Definitely a Claas above the Porsche ... Bad joke I know! But this or the huge digger are more UCS than the Porsche I second that. The only thing technical in the Porsche is the gearbox. And even that is not as good as many AFOLs have made. The one in the American truck from Jurgen Krooshoop is way better, and PF. The Claas is way nicer, its playable and technical. And love the new tires. Will try to get some for a MOC I hope to rebuild in the future.

To be fair though, I think it might have been in another topic Definitely a Claas above the Porsche ... Bad joke I know! But this or the huge digger are more UCS than the Porsche
Kaanere Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 I'm already in love with this set! Definitively going to get it, and I might not see any reviews before that
jorgeopesi Posted June 1, 2016 Posted June 1, 2016 (edited) Some sets don't need reviews, I don't like the entire arm but I am in love with the steering design and wheels. Those wheels will give me a lot of machinery, tatras, skidders etc... Edited June 1, 2016 by jorgeopesi
BrickWild Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Can anyone tell me what that implement is at the end?
TheItalianBrick Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 Could be a sort of mulcher....but given the cabin pointing in the same direction of the attachment I wouldn't be sure....
Cumulonimbus Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 (edited) The technical name is 'terrifying shredder of death' I believe. Don't really know to be honest, some kind of cultivator or mulcher like TheItalianBrick mentioned. It was shown at the latest Bauma exhibition and more images can be found at this site, like this one: Edit: apparently it's a mulcher called "Maxisoil" made by Seppi (their website) and it really is designed to shred just about everything, you can see it at work attached to a Xerion in . Ngoc Nguyen Posted June 2, 2016 Posted June 2, 2016 WOW I didn't know how big the Claas is until BrickWild posted that photo. The wheel alone is as tall as an adult! It's probably as large as the Volvo loader's wheel.

It's probably as large as the Volvo loader's wheel. That's true, although the Volvo L350F, which is what I think you're referring to, is still an overall larger vehicle. Also, that tiller is kind of interesting, in the video it is shown working both forwards, and backwards. It must do different things, depending on the pulling direction, and height.
dr_spock Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Can anyone tell me what that implement is at the end? It could be some sort of forestry tiller: Definitely a Claas above the Porsche ... Bad joke I know! But this or the huge digger are more UCS than the Porsche Groan....
Sariel Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Having just played with it today, I can confirm the tractor oozes awesomeness. Photo shared with personal permission from the designer:
legolijntje Posted June 3, 2016 Posted June 3, 2016 Wow, that picture exactly sums up what I'm planning to buy regarding Lego this year
