Dragonfire Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I hope Cutcobra is ok too, he never replied to my inquiries as to his night action results. He claimed tracker and Tariq J also claimed tracker and they both tracked Ranger night one with different results. I just read the scumboard. He got the Watcher role wrong - he thought it was a role which could see anyone who visited it. He was scared and thought he'd been seen targeting Ranger. He was a rolecop himself as well.
def Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 Just looking at the Google spreadsheet... why was Lady K's block of me unsuccessful? Only she targeted me, right? So she should have been successful? If she got unsuccessful for targeting vanillas, that was a broken role. That meant that she had a sort of role cop. Can I have an explanation?
JackJonespaw Posted January 28, 2016 Author Posted January 28, 2016 On Night 5? CMP blocked Lady K from blocking you.
Lady K Posted January 28, 2016 Posted January 28, 2016 I just read the scumboard. He got the Watcher role wrong - he thought it was a role which could see anyone who visited it. He was scared and thought he'd been seen targeting Ranger. He was a rolecop himself as well. We figured out he was the scum rolecop because he claimed tracker and yet his result he gave me didn't match what a tracker would receive as the result. And Ranger had already told me she watch me night one and saw no one targeted me.

mostlytechnic Posted January 29, 2016 Posted January 29, 2016 Just read the deadboard. MT, you have no idea how I think Yep, we're quite different people, that's obvious :) And I still maintain that I wasn't saying that you were godfather, just that making any reference to the last game was completely irrelevant and bad statistics :) I did appreciate your explanation of why you offered yourself up for lynch. That does make more sense now that I see your logic. LadyK - I think there was some misunderstandings with how you relayed info. For a couple of the days, I think you meant to say you had no evidence (no night results) but personally felt that person X was scum. But it came across to the rest of the town as a sure thing and so it pretty much killed the day's discussion and debate and just got that person lynched. Personally, I think it'd have been better on those days to just say that you don't have proof of anyone, and then wait to place you own vote so you didn't lead. There was a real risk of you losing the trust of the town when there were several days of lynching townies based on your accusations. That said, for a first time being the town leader, congrats on a win and you handled it pretty well - especially those first couple days when you had to claim so early! Thanks for a fun game. It was a crazy bunch of weeks for me so it was almost a relief to get lynched, but at the same time sad to be on the sidelines.

It was a crazy bunch of weeks for me so it was almost a relief to get lynched, but at the same time sad to be on the sidelines. Good advice! I hadn't meant to stop conversation, I was just worried about more no-lynch situations. I was also trying to keep the scum guessing as to if they had killed or blocked a town PR by just implying that we had a result vs. saying we didn't. Lessons learned for next time. It is difficult when conversation is so low to get a good feel on anyone being town or scum. As def said, leading is frustrating and creates a lot of paranoia....
def Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 And I still maintain that I wasn't saying that you were godfather, just that making any reference to the last game was completely irrelevant and bad statistics :) But why would you care so much that you're still on about it? Technically, we were both telling the truth. The past game had no bearing on the new game AND it was unlikely to happen twice in a row. I perfectly understand how statistics work. I've read Innumeracy twice. You going on about it was part of why I was happy to vote you out. Better to just move on. I'm moving on.
