marook Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 I would settle for a clinic! But a hospital released in parts that you could expand as a series in a line would be much more to my liking. Like getting the vehicle storage/deployment area in one set. Then getting the reception/triage area in another set. Wards and Staffers for said wards in the next etc. ... They could maybe do this as a Creator set, or two? Having bricks to build different parts of the hospital in minifig scale.. that would sell to AFOL. I guess.. Quote
sebitsena Posted March 25, 2016 Posted March 25, 2016 Jangbricks did a great job with his MOC : http://www.jangbricks.com/2016/03/custom-lego-hospital-moc-is-done.html?m=1 Maybe it is too big for a modular. I think a "Doctor's Office" could be great with a drug store as mentionned before. But let's dream : 2017 is going to celebrate the 10th modulars line anniversary. Maybe we will get a hospital, with an emergency car and a helicopter! Quote
Firebrickbuilder Posted April 12, 2016 Posted April 12, 2016 (edited) The ideal situation for a hospital would be a modular one. Maybe a corner building with one side an entrance for the ambulance to A&E, the connection to other buildings would form on both sides, ground floor, reception desk, two A&E rooms, toilets, lift, stairs, first floor, two operations rooms, recovery ward, second floor, ward, maybe physio, maternity?, the list is endless, three or four floors for this modular, a bigger base plate could be used also it would do nicely. I'd pay the higher price for something like this. Edited April 12, 2016 by Firebrickbuilder Quote
just_one Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 A Hospital modular would be a great idea! Either that your a full blown Library or Museum Quote
Vindicare Posted April 15, 2016 Posted April 15, 2016 (And the S6 surgeon hairpiece) I hope you're right! The last Hospital was terrible. A proper hospital theme would be amazing Maybe each set in the line could be a part of the Hospital (maternity guard, ER, intensive care unit, pharmacy, ....) and you have to get them all to build a huge hospital That would be a very cool idea, but I wonder how it would mesh without getting everything... I would imagine it'd be difficult to make a cohesive build in multiple variables(for those who can't afford or just don't want to buy all the sections). I love that idea & have seen it mentioned time & time again on here in various places. I don't know...it may be easier than I think it would be. Ky just sounds like it may be more of a hassle than a benefit. Quote
