Yes, john, but that is from 5 years ago. The current racer line is not mini-fig scale and that's what people were referring to. But now we know that the Speed Racer sets will have mini-figs....

These new sents sound great and I would like to see what the cars and of course new minifigures look like. I never watched the show but i have seen numerous parodies of it on simpsons and family guy. (This is the show were ,in english, their mouths dont fit with their diolouge at all right?)

Anyway, I'm looking forward to some sweet minifigs in this line, I may get the cheapest set, to get some of the minifigs. Oh, and the car. :-D

The cars do look interesting, especially the pieces - I see new mudguards and that new six-wide windshield. I didn't expect the blocky look of 8158, though. Bummer that 8159 and 8160 features the same car, though.

I really like these! *y* Definitely a great parts pack, and IMO the cars look cool. The one I like the most is that one with the building though, I want to get that for my town!
