Blaze Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Here is my entry for the contest, just in time A small group of soldiers is doing a patrol at a cross point when they suddenly hear a strange sound of wings flapping. Frozen Beyond by Jan Pennings, on Flickr It is a great ice dragon. Everyone thought they were extinct for over a thousand years, but the recent Algus invasion brought them back to Historica. I did my best on the pictures, but I do think that I should buy a decent camera. Quote
Lord Vladivus Posted January 30, 2016 Posted January 30, 2016 Love the chest of the dragon- that's a great idea! Quote
LittleJohn Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Great build! The trans light blue on the dragon looks very nice and I like the rocks I think having more of the ground covered in snow might look a little better, but still a very nice build Quote
Blaze Posted February 1, 2016 Author Posted February 1, 2016 Thanks guys for the comments! @LittleJohn yeah you are right! Now seeing the pictures here I Could have added more snow, it would have looked better and more "mitgardian", thanks for the advice! Quote
soccerkid6 Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Great to see you building for Mitgardia again! I really like the signposts, frozen soldier effect, and border here The dragon is quite cool too, the heart idea is well executed, and the new Chima blade things work well for claws Quote
Exetrius Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 Probably the most icy-looking beins that has been entered in the contest! The main body is almost one big ice-cube but it looks good. The head and clawed feet look very menacing! Also, you put good effort into the base, with a big surface, nice rock spikes and the split-up of the path. Af few points of criticism: the wing tips on which the creature leans and the points of articulation around the shoulders and upper legs look a little unrefined. Maybe you could cover them up with some white (SNOT) pieces? Impressive build overall! Quote
