November 1, 200717 yr I voted for the first one! Although it may not have the best colour coordination, it's very busy, and I like that. The buildings and vehicles are great, and look awesome! *y* *y* The second one is also awesome! Great colour scheme and coordination, and great building, but I love that ship! Awesome build, looks great, and the colours suit well, reminds me of the Jedi Star-fighter. *y* *y* ~Peace
November 7, 200717 yr I just had to go with MOC 1. I just love this garbled look of facturies and bases, the "used universe". MOC 2 is just too clean for my taste, although it is an excellent build and a really nice idea. When I first saw it, it made me laugh :D It looks kinda funny, when you see an "ordinary" house with a spaceship in the front yard :) All in all I think that MOC 1 is using the different themes better than MOC 2.
November 8, 200717 yr At long last we are ready to announce whose MOC was whose. Sinner was the excellent MOC #1 and mine was the equally excellent MOC #2 ( :-$ ...if I may say so myself.) Hooray! So Sinner will be receiving a new avatar and title from me within the next day or so, whenever I get a chance to sit down and think of something humiliating. >:-) In the mean time, hum a bit of Singin' in the Rain and check out the new Many Adventures of the Whacker and the Walrus issue #4-'Tis the East and Collette is the Sun. ...Singin' in the Rain, just Singin' in the Rain... Sinner, I had a blast again. You are a worthy opponent and I look forward to the tie breaker. Let's mix it up in round three. Perhaps delve outside the realm of the FFLSM. Find something to play to both our strengths and really making it interesting. I can't wait to see more and hear the evolution of your entry and I will post mine at some point. I photographed each iteration so people could see what I tried and what I thought I was going to build at first 8-| Great job buddy! See you next time! :-P
November 8, 200717 yr (Ahghghh! I just had a computer disaster just prior to posting this. >:-( Now I have to do it all again...) Congrats Hinckley! I stand ready to receive my punishment... 8-| At long last we are ready to announce whose MOC was whose. Sinner was the excellent MOC #1 and mine was the equally excellent MOC #2 ( :-$ ...if I may say so myself.) Well, to be honest I think it was obvious from the start for anyone who has seem MOCs from me before; a thruster for every plane, a triple airlock, an interior that seems awful similar to Impartial, a comparativly crap photo setup... I was going to discuss dropping the hidden identities, but I forgot. :-$ ...Singin' in the Rain, just Singin' in the Rain... I was considering doing something similar but I don't have a second umbrella. If I ask nicely can I have a larger version... :'-) Sinner, I had a blast again. You are a worthy opponent and I look forward to the tie breaker. Let's mix it up in round three. Perhaps delve outside the realm of the FFLSM. Find something to play to both our strengths and really making it interesting. Yes, I had a lot of fun too. Using so many pieces gave me the chance to try our some interesting techniques like the curved wall (which no one commented on :'-( ) and let me build my biggest ship yet... but I think doing it again would be a bit silly. Personally I am a bit sick of the colour problems. I would be interested in a diferent limit like weight, or even none, and/or a set theme. Steampunk sounds fun but I am open to anything. Some themes, like castles, I do find hard though due to piece limitations. (My windmill is dark grey at the top mostly because I ran out of light grey. :-| ) But we can discuss this later. I quite liked your MOC and when I first saw it I thought it would win, especially since you went for beautiful and I went for brutish! :-D As I said via EMail at the time... The building is beautiful and you have made great use of those rock pieces. Mine are too obvious, but I didn't want to waste them. The door is a cool idea! I love how you used the 33 degree wedges sideways. I don't think I have seen that done before. The columns above the door are a great piece of detaining and the castle bits (?) work surprisingly well. Is there an interior? (The building on my base has none as I knew I wouldn't have the photos to show it, and the tower has almost none.)Your ship is pretty cool too! There is some very interesting part usage there, and it must have been very complicated to make. The landing gear is a nice touch, and your pilot is very pretty! (I used mine in the mech; I did consider leaving her in the dress...) I find it funny how this time yours has zero colour clashes, and mine is somewhat oddly coloured. I think the voting will be very interesting! Interesting indeed; it was a near reverse of last time! :-P I can't wait to see more and hear the evolution of your entry and I will post mine at some point. I photographed each iteration so people could see what I tried and what I thought I was going to build at first 8-| Great job buddy! See you next time! :-P I was hoping to have it posted today but we had to go out shopping. I will try to do it tomorrow. I look forward to seeing your photos. *sweet* I best be off as I have taken twice as long as I planned to do this post. :-| Thanks for the fun! *sweet*
November 8, 200717 yr I'm amazed- I missed the topic! *wacko* :-$ I went with MOC 2. I like the fighter and the the doors, and the creator put the colors together well. Ah well, at least I noticed sometime or another... even if it is over. :-$ Edited November 8, 200717 yr by Mr. Mandalorian

"The creator" of that beautiful building is Hinckley and you know it! How did you miss the vote? Me and Hinckley were advertising it and we are both decently active here. Or do you ignore both of us now? :'-(

November 9, 200717 yr Actually, mechs seem to be the losing curse :-/ :-P You might have a point! I quite liked my little worker mech. :'-( How would that work though if we both did one next time?
November 9, 200717 yr Actually, mechs seem to be the losing curse :-/ Oh, sorry 8-| , I meant some big mech, perhaps inspired to some anime or similar. Or even a composite mech, made of 5 or 6 independent parts (veichles, common use objects, ...) *wacko* LuxorV
November 11, 200717 yr Congrats to Dinckley! I'm sure the poll was rigged!X-D Great MOC's from both of you!!
