Andrzej777 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 http://www.lego.com/en-gb/aboutus/news-room/2016/january/adjusted-guidelines-for-bulk-sales I just read that article. Can non-lug related people buy in bulk from Lego? Has anyone here tried to buy in bulk? Whats the minimum quantity? Whats to know? Quote
paul_delahaye Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Very interesting, but quite a stange declaration they are making. Quote
1974 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 Nope, that's AL's fault (who now doesn't even want to exibit i DK 'cause you know, us being nazis) So, if you make public exhibitions, you must make it very clear that TLG is not endorsing you (ahhm, a certain KZ camp comes to mind here) Much better than just shutting the bulk program down Quote
JDL1967 Posted January 31, 2016 Posted January 31, 2016 If you read the TLG website, you'll would no that what Andrzej777 question can be answert with YES. On there website it is written that as of 1 januari 2016, they dont ask you anymore why you want to buy in bulk. If i remember it correct is was written at the tab "news" on the offical lego website... Quote
MAB Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I don't believe that there are limits if you go through online PAB. If there are (999 or 9999 or similar), then phone them. Quote
Vorkosigan Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 The question is can people buy in bulk and get a discount for quantity. Buying at PAB online prices when you're getting many thousands of one part in one color is absurd. Quote
chump Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 (edited) When they're talking bulk, they're usually looking at minimum 25,000 LEGO elements ordered at a time. Edited February 1, 2016 by chump Quote
dr_spock Posted February 2, 2016 Posted February 2, 2016 I don't believe that there are limits if you go through online PAB. If there are (999 or 9999 or similar), then phone them. The website user interface won't let you type in a number larger than 999. But you can get over 1000 by clicking add to bag on the item again. I suppose you can click your way to 9999. If you're going for that many pieces, you're probably better to contact LEGO directly and try to work out a deal. Quote
Andrzej777 Posted February 2, 2016 Author Posted February 2, 2016 I called them - what they mean is that if you order more than 200 items of one element (bap order) - prices dont change Quote
