Stash2Sixx Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 In order to keep the bills paid, Atticus Cuervo has been known to take requests from distinguished gentlemen in need of specific commodities. Sometimes, those requests may come from a Commodore in the Oleon Navy who is tired of bureaucratic hindrances and is in need of goods for his men sooner than later. The "Marrazo" has quietly sailed into the capital port of Oleon to make it's delivery. Here we witness the exchange of goods and services for doubloons...a sizeable amount of doubloons at that. Don't let the size of the bag fool you! From here, Atticus Cuervo will head over to the shipyards to find his friend, Apprentice Shipwright Devine. He shall follow up on the status of his forthcoming ship, "El Chupacabra" and pay off the remaining balance with the proceeds from today's business. OOC: I wanted to give an idea of what business was like for the Eslandolans. Everyone thinks it's all friendly, but sometimes, you gotta' be a lil bit covert to get the job done. A hidden meeting in the Oleon Capital, on the docks outside of Warehouse 15, which is most likely a good distance away from all the important events of the day; no doubt there is some funny business going on...but that funny business pays well! But I'm sure this is not the first type of shady deal to occur on these wooden planks. Besides, I wanted a way to work in the name of my "ship" that is being constructed as we speak. C&C is most welcome!!! I joined up as I wanted something to encourage me to build more. Quote
Puvel Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Looks good! Nice variety of crates you got there. It’s very nice of the soldiers to look away for a bit :D Quote
Captain Dee Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 That's a very nice scene, and offers a good snapshot in time. I like the poses (see no evil!) and the decals are good. The structure fills the background nicely and the number on the door means this is a serious establishment. A good overview pic of the whole scene would be great, and the lighting seems to be a bit off, (Sunrise? Sunset?) but besides that this is a fine build. Quote
kabel Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 Shady Business, I like that! The build is a great beginning, but the one or the other minifig more would have created a better sense of a buisy harbor! Quote
blackdeathgr Posted February 1, 2016 Posted February 1, 2016 I like it!!! We Oleanders always take care of our army boys! A rich MOC that really shows a hub of trade activity. And i don't know if the photo got accidentally "yellowish" but it definitely gives an certain atmosphere that i really like! Quote
